Stunning footage captured by a team of tornado photographers out of Oklahoma gives viewers an up close look at a phenomenon that can be as destructive as it is hauntingly beautiful.

The footage features time lapse video of a spinning supercell -- a towering thunderstorm in the sky of east Wyoming. Photography group Basehunters, whose YouTube channel features footage of storms from Missouri to Iowa to Mississippi - posted the breathtaking images.
