A video posted to Facebook shows a beaver leading a herd of cattle on a ranch

The bizarre scene unfolded Friday in Saskatchewan, Canada

The video shows a beaver slowly walking through a field followed by 150 cows

When the beaver pauses all of the cows also stop until the beaver walks again

Owner of the ranch, Adrienne Ivey, said it was 'the most Canadian thing ever'

Funny footage from Russia shows the wild-eyed dog eating its heart out from a raspberry bush, unperturbed by the thorns. He even stands on his hind legs to drag it back down when the branch springs back up. A man and a woman comment and laugh at the pug's antics. Raspberries are a good healthy snack for dogs as well as humans. Not only do they have high levels of Vitamin C but  there is also a lot of manganese and fibre in the low-calorie fruit.

Beer with a lot of hops 

"Wallace. Grab me a beer please?" Sounds like a simple enough request. But for Ben Ahles, having Wallace actually bring him that beer is an "epic accomplishment."

 

Wallace is a rabbit. And for the past year, Ahles has been training Wallace to deliver his brew by pushing a tiny cardboard beer cart.

 

Ahles has posted the video of Wallace online and it has turned out to be a huge hit.  The project is part of Ahles' effort to build a relationship with Wallace, who belongs to Ahles' girlfriend.

POLAR BEAR PLAYS CATCH WITH A BOY AT THE ZOO

In the wild they may be known as vicious killers, but this captive polar bear shows the species has a softer side too.  Filmed at Rio Grande Zoo in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the video shows a swimming polar bear throwing a Frisbee to a boy watching behind the wire enclosure.

 

According to the boy's father, Miguel   Armenta, the bear had been throwing the disc for a while, trying to get it high enough for his son to catch. The short clip then captures the moment the bear finally manages the perfect throw, which is expertly caught by the boy.

A boxer that only has front legs refuses to let his disability hold him back as he charges across a beach with his four-legged pals.  In an adorable video showing his first trip to the beach, Duncan Lou Who can been seen excitedly galloping along the sand and paddling in the water.  

DIVER PUTS SHARK INTO A TRANCE - DON'T TRY THIS ON YOUR NEXT OCEAN SWIM

The shark whisperer: Diver puts shark into a TRANCE by stroking its nose (and then balances it in the palm of his hand)

• Divers in the Bahamas have been photographed putting a Caribbean reef shark into a state of tonic immobility, which is like a trance
• They claim to have done this by stroking the receptors on the shark’s nose, which causes it to stay still and relaxed for up to 15 minutes
• Caribbean reef sharks can measure 10ft (three metres) long and have been known to occasionally attack humans

Tonic immobility is a natural state of paralysis which animals enter but scientists are not entirely sure why they do it.  Experts think 'animal hypnosis' is related to mating in sharks and is used by other creatures to avoid predators by 'playing dead' and blending in with surroundings.  It can be induced without causing any apparent stress to animals, such as stroking a certain place on a lobster's shell.

Sharks can remain in a tonic state for up to 15 minutes. Some species are 'hypnotised' when they are turned upside down.  He claims to have done this my stroking the receptors on the shark’s nose

PET PARROT IDENTIFIES MURDERER

Hercule parrot! Indian murderer is caught after victim's pet bird identifies the killer

• Newspaper editor came home to find his wife and dog had been murdered
• Parrot screeched every time he heard the name of dead woman's nephew
• When police brought him for questioning, he confessed to the murders

An Indian journalist managed to catch the person who killed his wife after getting a tip off - from their pet parrot.  Vijay Sharma, the editor of a Hindi daily newspaper in Agra in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, returned home to find both his wife Neelam Sharma, 45, and her pet dog, had been murdered.

 

The only survivor was Hercule the pet parrot, but he had been stunned into silence after witnessing the horrific killings.  The house had also been ransacked and jewellery and cash stolen.  Police had no obvious leads, but that changed when Vijay's nephew Ashutosh visited their house after the murder.

 

Mr Sharma said: 'The parrot that was unusually quiet suddenly started shrieking and flapping around the cage.  It was clearly distressed about something and only calmed down when Ashutosh left.  Then when I spoke to other people, every time I mentioned Ashutosh's name the parrot would start screeching. This made me really suspicious and I decided to call the police.'

 

Police spokesman Shalabh Mathur said they looked at Ashutosh's phone records after being told he may be a suspect and found cause to bring him in for questioning.
