Hurricane-scarred Puerto Rico has become a tale of two islands - with malls, restaurants cinemas and even a stirp club reopening in the capital while the starving poor huddle in darkness just a few miles away. The city's trendy Plaza Las Américas mall is once again a hive of activity, with residents flocking to Cheesecake Factory, Mr Pretzels and Starbucks to sip espresso and stream TV on high speed WiFi. Travel beyond the city limits however and the semblance of normality quickly fades to desperation and misery. The disparity is shockingly evident in Loiza, a coastal city to the east of San Juan and one of the island's most impoverished communities.

Puerto Rico is a textbook case of what can happen when an area is so ravaged by disaster that there is not even the most basic infrastructure to distribute help to those who need it. Seaports and airports mostly destroyed, roads covered in debris, and cellphone communication impossible.
And as people run out of food, water, and fuel, and hospitals are barely function or not at all due to the lack of fuel to run generators, THOUSANDS of containers full of supplies have been sitting on the docks since the hurricane because unionized drivers on strike refuse to transport them.
Why are thousands of containers still sitting there? Because Puerto Rican drivers are on strike.
As the infrastructure is getting patched up a dirty little secret the mainstream media won't tell you is that Puerto Rico unionized drivers are demanding higher pay and on strike since before Hurricane Maria struck the island. Now they expect to profit from a desperate situation. The governor issued a public plea asking them to deliver aid sitting in the docks, but there was no response.
Gas stations selling fuel are being looted.
Police too are conspicuous by their absence. With numerous bands of looters roaming the island, it is dangerous to drive any sort of vehicle full of goods without police or military protection.

In the meantime the left-wing mayor of San Juan has been ranting hysterically on CNN and blaming the federal government for Puerto Ricans starving and dying.

The mainstream media, particularly CNN, along with Democrat politicians, have WEAPONIZED the Puerto Rican disaster. They tried to do the same thing in Texas and Florida, but they failed due to effective Federal response to the disasters.
So the media are using Puerto Rico. They did this by hiding the sad truth about this island: it is culturally different from the mainland, and so thousands of containers with food, water, and life-saving medicine are still sitting at the docks, because Puerto Rican drivers are on strike, and able bodied men have failed to organize themselves.
A few National Guard patrol the streets
Police have disappeared. Looters have been busy operating since the hurricane moved on. Now the local government has resorted to a few National Guard to keep order.
That is the reality. Lack of distribution is not Trump's fault, or alleged racism, or neglect. The Federal government has done enough, but it cannot do everything.

Dubai Police’s Command & Control centre reported that the city saw 7,273 traffic accidents during the first 15 days of Ramadan this year.
Yemen traffic accidents double during the month of Ramadan.
Saudi Arabia police warn that children should be kept inside, so as to avoid being run over by fasting drivers.
Ramadan fasting may also adversely affect work in factories, hospital surgery rooms, and other work sites.
Muslim terror acts also spike dramatically all over the world during Ramadan.
Ramadan was instituted 14 centuries ago, when Muslims rode camels in the desert. Now they pilot airplanes and operate nuclear facilities.

The White House keeps importing thousands of Muslim migrants. So the government spends your tax money to bring them in, and then spends even more when they turn to terror and crime. Wouldn't it make more sense to spend those billions of dollars helping the American homeless, instead, and war veterans, children, seniors, and so many other worthy Americans in need?
While some people are quick to condemn Israel for having checkpoints in areas with high incidence of Muslim terror, they forget to connect Muslim terror in America with extreme delays and degrading body searches the innocent public has to suffer at airport security. They choose to blame TSA mismanagement instead.
Let's not forget that it was Palestinian terrorists who initiated terror against airlines several decades ago, with hijackings and killings in the name of their political cause.

The White House and the EU say - with a straight face - that creating such a terror Muslim state on Jewish land will bring peace to Israel and the whole Middle East.
Give them a state? If a state for Muslim Palestinians is what it takes to create peace - why is it that all Arab states are dysfunctional, undemocratic, oppressive, and quite often extremely violent, spreading war and terror over the entire region AND the west? A young Jewish woman boarded a plane at Ben Gurion airport in Israel and was sitting at the window.
Moments before takeoff, she realized that something was not right with the wing and heard noises that she believed were not regular noises.
She first brought this to the attention of the passengers seated beside her, who in turn laughed it off and said it was just noise from the engines.
Undeterred, she persisted, unbuckling her seatbelt and standing up.
The flight attendants, who themselves were already seated and buckled in, instructed her to return to her seat.
When she told them her concerns about the plane they too laughed at her.
Airline officials shouted at her and voiced threats,
She insisted that she would not fly on the plane if they didn’t check it out.”
Finally they agreed to delay takeoff and investigate her claim.
What technicians discovered was a malfunction so severe that the Boeing 767 had to be grounded
Passengers were sent home and told to return the following day, but not before they expressed their apologies and thanks to the determined woman who had saved their lives.

The woman who saved a plane full of people has been identified.
German police went through Andreas' personal belongings and stated that his actions were caused by mental illness. According to news reports, Andreas had told a friendhe wanted to send a message to the world, and to do it spectacularly.
The few details known at this point reveal a man who was angry at the system and wanted to send a message.
But it was more than the system he wanted to hurt. He murdered 149 innocent people - mostly Europeans - among them babies and teenagers. It is this indiscriminate targeting of so many civilians that made the media initially suspect there was a Muslim connection. Andreas' Facebook page was immediately taken down, so people were left to speculate.
Sailor Gutzler walked away from a plane crash that killed her parents, sister and cousin.
Her father, a pilot, taught her survival skills.
With only a t-shirt and shorts on, no shoes, and a broken wrist, she tried to make a torch.
Unable to do so she went for help, after trying in vain to revive her parents
She walked nearly a mile in the middle of the night through a thorny and cold Kentucky forest to find help.
Finally she sighted a light in the distance and found a house.
Sailor Gutzler - You can't stop me
Relatives told NBC News that 7-year-old Sailor Gutzler, who walked away from a Kentucky plane crash that killed four family members, used survival skills learned from her father to make her way safely to a home nearly a mile away from the crash site.
Her father, Marty Gutzler, was a flight instructor. A pilot for 30 years who had taught his kids survival skills. Sailor had apparently paid close attention because relatives say she used the plane’s burning wing to light a branch to find her way out of the dark woods,” NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reported.
Before she struggled through the thick brush, the child tried to wake up her dead relatives, thinking they might be asleep.
Sailor tried to rouse the family members to no avail. She told Larry Wilkins, whose door she ended up at after her desperate walk to safety, but they 'wouldn't wake up', according to ABC News.
The second grader, who had a broken bone in her wrist, freed herself from the plane that came to rest upside-down in a densely wooded area, wearing shorts and a t-shirt and missing her shoes and one sock.
