DOG AND PARALIZED CAT ABANDONED ON THE ROAD - NOW RESCUED, THE DOG ACTS AS BODYGUARD FOR HER DISABLED CAT FRIEND

Paralyzed cat has her very own guard dog thanks to dachshund who refuses to leave her side after pair were dumped in road.

A paralyzed cat and a dog have become unlikely friends after being found abandoned at the bottom of a Florida driveway. Ruth the cat may not be able to move very easily but has nothing to fear thanks to her faithful companion Idgie. The two-year-old dachshund is so protective of the young cat that when rescue staff found them three months ago, Idgie barked and growled whenever anyone tried to approach.

Arthur was a stray dog who decided to join a European Peak Performance Team during their treck through the jungle in South America. It all started when one of the members gave him a meatball. From then on Arthur followed them through all kinds of challenges. In the end his loyalty, bravery and devotion paid off.
