Remember back in 2001 when we were told that we failed to "connect the dots" leading to the 9/11 Muslim terror attacks?
Failing to connect the dots can be done inadvertently or by design.
As the media is currently flooded with news and opinions related to the FBI scandal, we need to connect the dots that lead to nothing less than a plot involving sedition by top government officials sympathetic to the Democrats.
Their illegal and unethical acts are spun and excused by media and politicians because they favored the Democrats. But these abuses could also be perpetrated in the future by Republicans against Democrats.
Thus, this plot needs to be thoroughly investigated, and strict measures implemented to prevent any similar reoccurrence.

We need to understand the tortuous path of this plot aimed at preventing the American people from electing Donald Trump as president, and - if that failed - at facilitating his impeachment once in office.

Puerto Rico is a textbook case of what can happen when an area is so ravaged by disaster that there is not even the most basic infrastructure to distribute help to those who need it. Seaports and airports mostly destroyed, roads covered in debris, and cellphone communication impossible.
And as people run out of food, water, and fuel, and hospitals are barely function or not at all due to the lack of fuel to run generators, THOUSANDS of containers full of supplies have been sitting on the docks since the hurricane because unionized drivers on strike refuse to transport them.
Why are thousands of containers still sitting there? Because Puerto Rican drivers are on strike.
As the infrastructure is getting patched up a dirty little secret the mainstream media won't tell you is that Puerto Rico unionized drivers are demanding higher pay and on strike since before Hurricane Maria struck the island. Now they expect to profit from a desperate situation. The governor issued a public plea asking them to deliver aid sitting in the docks, but there was no response.
Gas stations selling fuel are being looted.
Police too are conspicuous by their absence. With numerous bands of looters roaming the island, it is dangerous to drive any sort of vehicle full of goods without police or military protection.
Gas stations that had been provisioned are being looted by criminals.
In the meantime the left-wing mayor of San Juan has been ranting hysterically on CNN and blaming the federal government for Puerto Ricans starving and dying.

The mainstream media, particularly CNN, along with Democrat politicians, have WEAPONIZED the Puerto Rican disaster. They tried to do the same thing in Texas and Florida, but they failed due to effective Federal response to the disasters.
So the media are using Puerto Rico. They did this by hiding the sad truth about this island: it is culturally different from the mainland, and so thousands of containers with food, water, and life-saving medicine are still sitting at the docks, because Puerto Rican drivers are on strike, and able bodied men have failed to organize themselves.

Police have disappeared. Looters have been busy operating since the hurricane moved on. Now the local government has resorted to a few National Guard to keep order.
That is the reality. Lack of distribution is not Trump's fault, or alleged racism, or neglect. The Federal government has done enough, but it cannot do everything.

Not long ago it was revealed that the sugar industry paid corrupt researchers to blame fat for health problems that were actually caused by sugar. Remember when authorities told you that even eggs were bad for you, while ice cream was part of the four food groups allegedly good for you?

The internal sugar industry documents were found in public archives by a researcher at the University of California, San Francisco. The documents showed the sugar industry was aware of evidence in the 1960s that linked sugar consumption to high blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels and was thought to be risk factors for coronary heart disease. The sugar industry paid the Harvard scientist the equivalent of $50,000 in 2016 dollars for their fake research.
Even without fraud, scientific knowledge is evolving daily. In five or ten years many of our most sacred scientific theories will make the world laugh.
Science must not be treated as a cult or a religion, with scientists as a clergy often wearing those authoritative white coats, upholding their holy theories as gospel.

A group of researchers sent phony resumes to 360 scientific journals for an applicant whose Polish name translated to “Dr. Fraud.” And 48 journals happily appointed the fake doctor to their editorial board.
This sting operation was the first systematic analysis on editorial roles in science publishing, adding concrete evidence to a problem paststings have shed light on.
There are a whole lot of “predatory” scientific journals out there, journals that take advantage of scientists’ need to produce articles by publishing anything for a fee, without checking to make sure the paper is actually new research, worth publishing, and not completely inaccurate.

A St Louis archbishop embroiled in a sexual abuse scandal has claimed he didn’t know it was illegal for priests to have sex with children in the 1980s, according to a court deposition released on Monday.
Archbishop Robert Carlson, who was chancellor of the Archdiocese of Minneapolis and St. Paul at the time, was deposed as part of a sexual abuse lawsuit in Minnesota involving the archdiocese and the Diocese of Winona.
In a testimony filmed last month and released by the St. Paul law firm Jeff Anderson & Associates, the Catholic archbishop was asked whether he had known it was a crime for an adult to engage in sex with a child.
‘I’m not sure whether I knew it was a crime or not,’ Carlson responded. ‘I understand today it’s a crime.’ When asked when he first realized it was a crime for an adult - including priests - to have sex with a child, Carlson, 69, shook his head. ‘I don’t remember,’ he testified.
Yet according to other documents released by attorney Jeff Anderson, who is representing an alleged clergy abuse victim, Carlson showed clear knowledge that sexual abuse was a crime when discussing incidents with church officials during his time in Minnesota.
In a 1984 document, for example, Carlson wrote to the then-archbishop of St. Paul and Minneapolis - John R. Roach - about one victim of sexual abuse and mentioned that the statute of limitations for filing a claim would not expire for more than two years.
He also wrote that the parents of the victim were considering reporting the incident to the police. Carlson’s role at the time was to investigate abuse claims. He admitted in his deposition that he never personally went to police, even when a clergy member admitted to inappropriate behavior.
In the testimony, Carlson responded 193 times that he did not recall abuse-related conversations from the 1980s to mid-1990s. Carlson also said that even in 1996 he did not know that pedophilia was a disorder that couldn’t be cured. “I did not know that, but as a pastor, I was becoming increasingly concerned,” Carlson said.
Carlson left the Archdiocese of Minneapolis and St. Paul in 1994, and eventually became St. Louis archbishop in 2009. The Archdiocese of St. Louis said in a statement on Monday that Carlson had given testimony ‘several times many years ago’ about the same allegations.
‘In this most recent deposition, while not being able to recall his knowledge of the law exactly as it was many decades ago, the Archbishop did make clear that he knows child sex abuse is a crime today,’ the statement said. ‘The question does not address the Archbishop’s moral stance on the sin of pedophilia, which has been that it is a most egregious offense.’ The trial against the Twin Cities archdiocese is set to begin in September.
