Police officer Chris Williams was working security near a high school in Camdenton, Missouri, when he spotted a raccoon family looking suspicious. When he came closer though, he witnessed the sweetest moment of the night – the whole raccoon family teamed up to help a raccoon baby get over the wall.

“The mother raccoon leaned over the wall as the baby held onto her legs so she could reach out and grab the other baby and pull him up,” Williams wrote on YouTube. “Great example of a mother’s love and teamwork!”

Busted! The four masked intruders (pictured) were snapped by police before their 'arrest' - the store's owner says they were inside 'rearranging' the art on the walls
Art-loving criminals: Four raccoons caught 'burglarizing' gallery go viral after cops post their hilariously incriminating photo

  • A Good Samaritan called cops after seeing the furry fiends ransacking the store
  • Police were able to roust the invaders after a 'brief scuffle'
  • Home Dog, Da Nails, Squeaky Feets, and Two-Toes Todd were apprehended without further incident - it's unclear where they are now

Richard Jones, a Florida resident, was on a family walk in Oscala National Forest recently when he took this photo. He thinks his son must have startled the raccoon, which then tried to run away, resulting in this surprising scenario.

“I snapped a lucky picture right when the gator slipped into the water and before the raccoon jumped off and scurried away. Without the context you’d think the raccoon was hitching a ride across the river. Pretty amazing,” Richard Jones said in an email to wftv. “Definitely the photo of a lifetime.”

Raccoons are faster than alligators, allowing this little bandit the opportunity to escape!

RACCOON DANCES WITH HIS HILLBILLY FRIEND

Most folks would run the other way if a potentially rabies-riddled raccoon appeared on their porch - but not this self-confessed hillbilly.

No Mark 'Kuhn Rippy' Brown was so enamored by the tubby creature he nicknamed 'Gunshow' that he launched into a waltz with it, dancing to none other than Aretha Franklin's classic 'Chain of Fools.'

A hilarious video, posted on YouTube, captured the impressive feat, which lasted a whole minute-and-a-half, and the tape has garnered more than 250,000 views.
