• Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Authority chief, was the financial mastermind of the Munich Olympics torture, rape and sexual mutilation and massacre of Israeli athletes.

Key Points:

• Abbas’s PLO and his Palestinian Authority engage as a general practice in glorifying terrorist murderers.
• As has been widely reported in recent weeks, his PA and PLO also incentivize and underwrite terrorism to the tune of $300 million a year, which is paid, in accordance with PA law, to convicted terrorists sitting in Israeli prisons and their families.
• The Palestinian media and school system which he controls with an iron fist both regularly portray Jews as evil monsters, deserving of physical annihilation. 
• There are three problems with this goal. First, the peace process between Israel and the PLO is predicated on the notion that the US must pressure Israel to make massive concessions to the PLO.
• So simply by engaging in a negotiating process with the PLO, Trump has adopted an antagonistic position toward Israel.
• The second problem is that Abbas himself has proven, repeatedly, that he will never support a peace deal with Israel. Abbas opposed Israel’s peace offer at Camp David in 2000.
• Abbas rejected then-prime minister Ehud Olmert’s peace offer in 2008.
• Abbas rejected then-president Barack Obama’s peace offer in 2013. Since then, Abbas made no sign of moderating his position.
• The third problem with Trump’s decision to engage in peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians is that any hypothetical deal a hypothetical Palestinian leader would accept, would endanger Israel’s very existence. So in the unlikely event that he reaches “the deal,” his achievement will imperil Israel, rather than protect it.

By forcing Abbas to lie and issue a fake condemnation of the slaughter of Jewish rabbis in Jerusalem, the United States government continues to be an active participant in a major land swindle aimed at depriving Jews of their ancient biblical heartland for the creation of a Muslim terror state.

While Psaki has exhibited skill at broadcasting moral confusion and a warped ethical calculus that places Israeli victims of terrorism and the perpetrators of that terrorism on an equal moral plane, Secretary of State John Kerry and his immediate advisers concluded that such equivocations were unacceptable half-measures.

Mein Kampf suffers from none of that mealy-mouthed rhetoric, unambiguously siding with the enemies of the Jews.

 

The shift toward open antagonism to Israel and Jews in the Obama administration has long been palpable, but this is the first instance of its extent.

An earlier inquiry investigated the possibility of replacing Vice President Joe Biden with seventeenth-century Cossack leader Bohdan Chmielnicki, but foundered on basic constitutional issues.

Psaki is expected to accept a position as spokeswoman for the lobbying organization J Street. (J Street is a pseudo pro-Jewish' organization that advocates for policies detrimental to Israel.)

Lawyers for the Obama administration compared Israel’s control of Jerusalem to Russian claims over the Ukrainian territory of Crimea during oral arguments this week before the Supreme Court in a case concerning the rights of U.S. citizens to list Jerusalem as part of Israel on their passports.

U.S. Solicitor General Donald Verrilli, who is rumored to be in the running to replace outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder, drew the comparison on Monday while he attempted to convince the Supreme Court that Jerusalem is not officially part of Israel.

 

The controversial case hinges around Menachem Zivotofsky, who was born in Jerusalem in 2002.

 

Zivotofsky’s parents requested that Menachem’s U.S. passport bear “Jerusalem, Israel” as his place of birth, a request that was denied by the Obama administration on the basis of its longstanding policy to not recognize the holy city as part of Israel.

 

The Zivotofsky family sued following the decision and the case has been stuck in judicial limbo since. The Supreme Court agreed to hear the case and initial arguments by both sides were presented this week.

WHO OR WHAT IS BEHIND DISTURBING PETITION FOR THE PARTITION OF ISRAEL? - At a time when Sinai and Gaza, given up by Israel "for peace," are riddled with jihadi violence threatening Israel, Egypt and the whole region - The US government's detrimental influence on Israeli policies and fate

Two news items flashed before readers of Mideast news this morning.  And in an ominous way, they are both connected. 

 

One is the 100-signature petition by former members of the Israeli intelligence and security establishment asking for the partition of Israel.  They don't use that word, naturally, but as good State Department students they use the coded words "peace process" - which basically demand Israel's return to its indefensible 1967 borders.

The other news item is about how ISIS and other extreme jihadi factions are already well established and cooperating in Sinai and Gaza -  two of the territories that Israel gave up "for peace" -   seriously threatening the security of both Israel and Egypt.

 

ITEM ONE
Times of Israel - Over one hundred high ranking security officials issued a letter to PM Benjamin Netanyahu, urging him to work towards relaunching negotiations with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, with the intent of reaching a viable, two state solution.  In the letter, which is being published as an advertisement in several Israeli newspapers, the officials further contend that Israel has the ability to reach a comprehensive peace agreement not only with the Palestinians, but with a number of key nations throughout the Middle East as well.

WHAT or WHO motivated these well-informed individuals to put their names on a letter asking for Israel's suicide? 

They know perfectly well that the Arabs don't just want a Palestinian state, but the elimination of the state of Israel.   That has been made clear by top Arab leaders. 

Partition is only a phase in the dismantling of Israel.  You can't expect peace by making Israel only 9 miles wide and divided in two to give Palestinians a land corridor between Ramallah and Gaza.

We can only speculate who is behind this petition, but State Department tentacles have burrowed very deep inside the Israeli political and intellectual establishment for decades, and this letter may prove how effective they are. 

ITEM TWO

Jerusalem Post - Islamists in the Sinai Peninsula have formed ties with ISIS and, closer to home, with Hamas and Salafist groups in the Gaza Strip. 

These are not the PR-promoted "militants" and "freedom fighters" that the State Department and the media usually refers to, when speaking about Muslims battling Israel. 

It is impossible to whitewash the hard-core nature of these fighters.  Unlike Fatah in the Palestinian Authority, they have no American PR agencies and US and EU humanitarian to portray them as "victims" of Israeli oppression.

 

So what's the obvious lesson from the fate of two territories over which Israel has no longer any control?   Chaos and extreme violence.  "Militants" killed 30 Egyptian soldiers just the other day in Sinai.

US SECRETARY KERRY:   ISRAEL TO BLAME FOR ISIS AND MUSLIM EXTREMISTS

 

And although the US Secretary of State blames Israel  for the surge in ISIS and the bloody mayhem in the Middle East, the post-Arab Spring era has shown that violence is at the center of Muslim ideology - and that the only thing that has ever kept Shia and Sunni from killing each other, and fundamentalists and seculars from doing the same, has been the strong and ruthless rule of tyrants.   

 

Western-style democracy and secularism are anathema to true Islam.  A real Muslim cannot accept being ruled by anything except Sharia law.  And Sunni and Shia factions will hate and kill each other for eternity.  Their conflict is unresolvable.  It has nothing to do with Israel. 

The world's obsessive fixation with Israel has no other agenda than its destruction - through incessant bullying, demonization, partition and weakening.

 

That's reality. 

THE DECADES-LONG US WAR ON ISRAEL'S SURVIVAL

SENATOR TED CRUZ BLASTS WHITE HOUSE INSULTING COMMENT ABOUT ISRAEL'S PM NETANYAHU and for US hostile policies against Israel

In an article written for Time magazine, Texas Senator Ted Cruz blasted the Obama administration for its vitriolic hostility for the state of Israel, calling on Democrats to demand that the administration member who called Israeli  Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “chickensh*t” and “a coward” be fired.

Cruz blistered the Obama administration for betraying Israel by stating that it was now “too late” for Israel to stop Iran from building nuclear weapons.

 

Cruz also excoriated the administration for indifference to the statements it makes, noting White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest claimed such things happen almost every day. 

 

Cruz’s statement reads:

This week, the world was treated to yet another embarrassing display of the Obama administration’s incompetent foreign policy.   

According to The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg, various anonymous officials referred to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as both "a chicken****” and “a coward.”  

While these indefensible comments have received the lion’s share of media attention, the substantive remarks about Iran were even more troubling. Goldberg wrote that another senior official claimed that due to their pressure on Netanyahu, it is now “too late” for Israel to stop Iran from amassing an “atomic arsenal.” 

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told the White House press corps on Tuesday that the President likely does not know who did this, and there is no effort underway to find out.  

Other officials have signaled that these persons may be disciplined in ways that are [sic] have not been disclosed. But, regardless, they will continue to serve at the pleasure of the President because, as Earnest said, such things happen almost every day in this administration. In other words, this is no big deal.  

With all due respect, this is a very big deal. This is an unprecedented attack on a critical ally of the United States at a moment of international crisis. It is a de facto admission to the mullahs in Tehran that the Obama administration thinks it is too late to prevent them from acquiring nuclear weapons. It is an inexcusable betrayal of the national security of the American people.  

Do the Democrats agree with what Obama administration officials are saying about Israel and its leaders? Do they also concede that a nuclear Iran is inevitable? If not, will they call on the President to identify and fire the persons making these assertions? These questions should be asked—and answered—before Americans head to the polls next Tuesday.  

It is my hope that Congress can unite to reverse this administration’s approach by defending our allies and standing up to hostile actors in the world. When the White House acts recklessly, Congress should swiftly act to defend our nation.  

We will not be able to do so if the Senate is led by Harry Reid acting as a rubber stamp for President Obama. Either the Democrats should denounce the Obama [a]dministration’s dangerous policies or the voters should send them home in November. 

As disgraceful as these comments were, at least they bring crystal clarity to the choice we face as a nation on November 4th. Choose wisely.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu made headlines around the world again with his assertion in the Knesset that he will defend the right of Jews to live in any part of his country’s capital.

 

The statement and the expedited plans to build 1,000 new apartments in Jerusalem is drawing the usual condemnations from the international community as both an unnecessary provocation and a new obstacle to Middle East peace.

 

But what Israel’s critics are missing is that the threats and actual violence coming from Palestinians about Jewish homes, is the best indicator that the sort of mutual coexistence that is essential to peace is currently not in the cards.

Who created the White House - Israel crisis?  Not Israel.

Since Barack Obama became president, The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg has been a reliable indicator of administration opinion about foreign-policy issues. Like some other journalists who can be counted on to support the president, he has been the recipient of some juicy leaks, especially when the White House wants to trash Israel’s government.

 

But Goldberg and his “senior administration sources” reached a new low today when he published a piece in which those anonymous figures labeled Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu a “chickenshit” and a “coward.”

 

The remarks are clearly not so much a warning to the Israelis to stop complaining about the U.S. push for appeasement of a nuclear Iran and the administration’s clueless approach to the conflict with the Palestinians. Rather the story is, as Goldberg rightly characterizes it, a genuine crisis in the relationship.

 

That much is plain but where Goldberg and the talkative administration members are wrong is their belief that this is all Netanyahu’s fault.

 

Their attacks on him are not only plainly false but are motivated by a desire to find an excuse that will be used to justify a drastic turn in U.S. foreign policy against Israel.

 

A message of utter contempt and hostility in one symbolic gesture?

The administration critique of Netanyahu as a coward stems from its disgust with his failure to make peace with the Palestinians as well as their impatience with his criticisms of their zeal for a deal with Iran even if it means allowing the Islamist regime to become a threshold nuclear power. But this is about more than policy.

The prickly Netanyahu is well known to be a tough guy to like personally even if you are one of his allies. But President Obama and his foreign-policy team aren’t just annoyed by the prime minister.

 

They’ve come to view him as public enemy No. 1, using language about him and giving assessments of his policies that are far harsher than they have ever used against even avowed enemies of the United States, let alone one of its closest allies.

A Border Patrol officer serving in eastern Jerusalem has for the first time revealed the police helplessness in dealing with the "silent intifada".  

 

Arab violence has been gripping the capital in recent months, as Arab rock, firebomb and even gunfire attacks rise sharply.

 

Speaking on Channel 2's "Shesh Im" TV program Thursday, a day after a Hamas terrorist wounded nine with his car including a three-month-old baby who was killed in the attack, the officer admitted the Border Patrol warriors are forced to "stand like dolls" against the Arab terror.

 

"We feel like our hands are tied," the combat officer revealed, placing the blame squarely on the shoulders of Interior Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovich for the collapse in security.  According to the officer, senior captains as well as Aharonovich are trying to calm things down and hush up the "silent intifada" rather than fight Arab terror to the end.

Since he assumed office nearly six years ago, US President Barack Obama has been dogged by allegations of managerial incompetence. Obama, his critics allege, had no managerial experience before he was elected. His lack of such experience, they claim, is reflected in what they see as his incompetent handling of the challenges of the presidency.

 

In everything from dealing with the Congress, to reining in radical ideologues at the IRS, to handling the chaos at the Mexican border, to putting together coordinated strategies for dealing with everything from Ebola to Islamic State (IS), Obama’s critics claim that he is out of his league. That he is incompetent.

 

But if Israel’s experience with him is any guide, then his critics are the ones who are out to sea. Because at least in his handling of US relations with the Jewish state, Obama has exhibited a mastery of the tools of the executive branch unmatched by most of his predecessors.  Consider two stories reported in last Friday’s papers.

 

White House blocked FBI search for missing Israeli soldier

First, in an article published in The Jerusalem Post, terrorism analyst and investigative reporter Steven Emerson revealed how the highest echelons of the administration blocked the FBI and the US Attorney’s Office from assisting Israel in finding the remains of IDF soldier Oron Shaul.

 

Shaul was one of seven soldiers from the Golani Infantry Brigade killed July 20 when Hamas terrorists fired a rocket at their armored personnel carrier in Gaza's Shejeia neighborhood.  As Emerson related, after stealing his remains, Hamas terrorists hacked into Shaul’s Facebook page and posted announcements that he was being held by Hamas.

 

Among other things it did to locate Shaul and ascertain whether or not he was still alive, the IDF formally requested that the FBI intervene with Facebook to get the IP address of the persons who posted on Oron’s page. If such information was acquired quickly, the IDF might be able to locate Oron, or at least find people with knowledge of his whereabouts.

 

Acting in accordance with standing practice, recognizing that time was of the essence, the FBI and the US Attorney’s Office began working on Israel’s request immediately. But just before the US Attorney secured a court order to Facebook requiring it to hand over the records, the FBI was told to end its efforts.

The Obama administration stopped shipping to Israel all defense items – and not just Hellfire missiles as previously reported – for a short time in the middle of the war against Hamas, reported Israel Defense’s Amir Rappaport, the well-informed and highly credibly editor of the website.

Makor Rishon added to that report that the US actually cut off all communications with Israel’s Ministry of Defense purchasing offices in the US for days.

The Defense Ministry, now realizing it cannot always depend on the Obama administration in a time of crisis, already has decided under a “veil of secrecy,” according to Israel Defense, to manufacture a highly sensitive weapon in Israel instead of buying it from the United States.

The change in policy is a major step that would wean Israel away from dependence on the United States and which also would be a significant change in the policy of buying American-made weapons with most financial assistance from the United States.

American aid to countries, including Israel, usually is conditioned on a majority of the money being poured back into the American military-industrial complex.

Two recent events have once again propelled Palestinian statehood into the forefront of media spotlight, after several months of it being overshadowed by other events like developments in Ukraine, the war in Gaza and the televised barbarity of Islamic State.

 

One was the statement by Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven (subsequently somewhat equivocally revised) that his country would recognize a Palestinian state. The other was the British Parliament’s (nonbinding, but in the eyes of some, historic) vote on recognition of statehood for the Palestinians.

 

In light of these incidents, I was invited to appear on i24news news and participate in a discussion with a Palestinian interlocutor on the prospects for, and the prudence of, establishing a Palestinian state.

 

Much of what follows reflects the things I said during that 20-minute debate – and the things I didn’t, but would have, had time permitted.
 

 Patently incompatible

 

I began by asserting that it should be obvious to anyone with an iota of intellectual integrity that establishing a Palestinian state, in any conceivable configuration, is incompatible with the security and survival of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people.

 

It is incomprehensible for anyone who holds this view of Israel’s role in the world not to strive to have the issue of Palestinian statehood removed from the international discourse.

 

After all, the recent round of fighting in Gaza should have brought home dramatically the perils involved in a Palestinian entity with a short 50-km. border, abutting the sparsely populated, mainly rural South.

 

Thus, little imagination is required to grasp the horrific implications for Israel entailed in the establishment of yet another Palestinian entity in Judea-Samaria (a.k.a.“West Bank”), but now with a 500-km. border, abutting the heavily populated urban center of the country – with Ben-Gurion, Israel’s only international airport, easily within mortar range.

AMERICANS JUST GAVE EVERY GAZAN $200 - THEIR REWARD FOR TERROR THAT KILLS JEWS

It’s a sizable bump from the already sizable amount of assistance that the Palestinian Arabs have been getting from the rest of the world.

The current pledges add up to around $5 billion. That comes out to something like $2,700 for every Gazan. That’s not bad considering that it’s around half the local yearly salary.


Over $200 million of that money is coming from the United States with another $200 million in “humanitarian” aid. Or to put it another way, Americans just gave every Gazan 200 dollars.

Of course that’s a fraction of the various trails of foreign aid that flow from the US to the West Bank and Gaza.

We went from $75 million a year under Clinton to $360 million under Bush to $900 million in Obama’s first year. And that’s an incomplete accounting because it doesn’t take into account every loophole for funneling more money to terrorists.

Good thing we have so much money ourselves that we can dump a whole lot of it on Hamas terrorists.
