'They Butchered My Daughter' - Shelly Dadon's father tells Arutz Sheva that his daughter was apparently killed by terrorists; the murder was heard over a phone call.

The father of Shelly Dadon, the 19-year-old resident of Afula whose body was found Thursday in the woods near Migdal Haemek, has spoken for the first time regarding his daughter's murder, which apparently was committed by a terrorist who fled to a nearby Arab village.
"We started to worry. At 2 p.m. we realized something happened," the father told Arutz Sheva, recalling the events of how his daughter went missing after leaving for a job interview. "We contacted the police and I gave a description (of Shelly), and then they told us to come to the station, and I realized something had happened."
Regarding the motivation behind his daughter's murder, he said "I believe it was nationalistic, and still can't digest (her murder). She was a very responsible girl."
"They shouldn't rest until they find her phone, maybe there are fingerprints on it," added the bereaved father, noting that she had been in the middle of a phone call with her cousin apparently at the time of the murder.
While on the phone, Shelly said "there is someone scary here, I'm being strangled!" Shelly appeared to be referring to a woman [extrapolated from Hebrew grammar - ed.].
"There's no security in this country," said Shelly's father. "My message to parents is not to send your children alone, we don't digest the fact that in the state of Israel you go to your workplace and don't come back. They just butchered my girl." The funeral of Shelly Dadon will take place on Saturday after Shabbat, at 10:30 p.m. in Afula's cemetery.
"Her first time leaving the house alone." Members of Shelly's family are currently mourning the loss at the Dadon home in Afula. "She was a blossoming young lady," one family member stated. "This was her first time leaving the house alone."
The Shin Bet is still hunting for the killer, who as noted apparently fled to a nearby Arab village; police have stated their belief that the murder was nationalistically motivated - a terror attack, not a criminal act.
Despite that, Shelly's cousin Alon noted there has been a remarkable lack of condemnation of the attack from Israel's government.
"I want every MK to know what is going on here," he said. "If this had been a 'price tag' graffiti incident (by Jewish kids), the whole State would have been up in arms. But when a young girl is murdered on her way to a job interview, they are all silent." "We demand that they bring [the killer] to justice," he added.
By contrast, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and others were swift to condemn an alleged act of "price tag" vandalism earlier this week, especially in light of a damning report from the US State Department over the "Jewish terrorism." Netanyahu called the latest attack "outrageous," vowing, "we are using ISA (Shin Bet) resources for this purpose.”

Following that attack Adva Biton, mother of the infant Adelle who was nearly killed last March by a rock thrown at the family's car near Ariel in Shomron, said the attack brought her right back to the day of the attack, and that she had hoped Adelle would be the last injured infant.
Lowenstein Hospital in Ra'anana this week agreed to let Adelle stay at the hospital for another four months, as the Biton family home is not yet prepared to deal with the infant's special needs given that she was left with only partial consciousness.

A group of Jewish children and their fathers ascended the Temple Mount on Tuesday and were verbally and physically assaulted by Muslims objecting to their presence, according to recorded footage of the incident released on Thursday. About 20 religious children were verbally assaulted, then the side curls of one boy were pulled and Muslims also spit and threw shoes.
“In the video clip, Jewish fathers can be heard telling their children to not be afraid, and the young children, holding one another’s hands, proceeded calmly and orderly, despite the clearly life endangering situation that they found themselves in. Israeli authorities routinely play down Arab acts of terror and violence, even to the point of hiding evidence. They are also inexplicably reluctant to curb Arab violence.

The truth is that they treat Jews with discrimination and harshness, while they go easy on Arabs. Israeli authorities allow Arabs to attack Jews with impunity in circumstances that are very predictable, such as while driving, or walking on their way to prayer at Temple Mount, the most sacred site in Judaism.
Every single day gangs of Arab youngsters throw rocks at motorists. These rocks have injured and killed Israelis. They also riot outside Temple Mount to deny Jews the right to pray there. Police have done NOTHING to protect Jews.
Motives for Israeli government policies of tolerance for Arab terror are unclear. These policies are supported by left-wing Israelis and by the ever-meddling United States government representatives.

Shelly Dadon, 20, from Afulah, was murdered Thursday, May 1, in a deserted wood near the Migdal Haemek industrial zone in northern Israel, by a gang of Israeli Arabs belonging to an terrorist organization called “The Galilee Liberators.”
She died after multiple stab wounds were inflicted savagely on her upper torso.
The killers planted clues at the scene that broadcasted their affiliation. However the local police spoke of “various lines of inquiry’ – a regular cliché they use to play down Palestinian terrorist action.
At this time of year, the police prefer to avoid aggravating Arab-Jewish tensions before Israel’s national Day of Remembrance Day for the Fallen and 66th Day of Independence early next week.
Shelly Dadon was on her way to a job interview in Migdal Ha’Emek. Her murderers may have shadowed her from her home in Afula to her destination, or possibly, grabbed her when she arrived. They would have been familiar with the location.
In November 2009, a gang of three Israeli Arabs belonging to the same “Galilee Liberators” organization murdered Yofim Weinstein, a taxi driver from Nazareth Ilit, leaving behind similar leads to their group’s complicity.
Their organization was formed by Arabs living in northern Israel in 2002, when the Palestinian suicide bombings on Israeli towns of the Second Intifada were at their peak. In the subsequent 12 years, the Galilee Liberators developed ties with Palestinian terrorist organizations such as the extremist Popular Front, the PFLP-General Command, Hamas and Al Aqsa Brigades. Parts are allied with the Lebanese Hizballah and others with al Qaeda.
The organization has no known command hierarchy. It appears to operate through autonomous cells scattered among the northern Arab population from Acre to Safed and Nazareth. Their collaboration is limited to providing such services as hiding used weapons of assault or providing killers with hideouts.
Their preferred mode of operation is to waylay individual Israelis in quiet spots and kill them by brutal means.
This is what happened to the IDF soldier Oleg Shaychat from Nazareth Ilit. Mohammed Anbatawi and Mohammed Hatib from Kafr Kana, members of the Galilee Liberators organization, kidnapped him from the Beit Rimon intersection on July 21, 2003, killed him and abandoned his body in a nearby olive orchard, after a last death blow.
Another girl, Dana Bennett, was his next victim. She like Shelly Dadon was apparently singled out and tailed to a lonely spot before she was murdered on Aug. 1, 2003.
Police spent years searching for her body. At length, in January 2005, the “Galilee Liberators” contacted the French News Agency AFP with an offer to reveal its whereabouts for the price of 1,000 Palestinian terrorists to be released from Israeli jails. Dana was finally found and laid to rest without this deal.
Then, five years ago, on Aug. 12, 2008, Ahmed Mahmoud Khatib from Kafr Manda, snatched the automatic sidearm of an Israeli security guard in the Old City of Jerusalem, opened fire and injured 10 passersby before he was caught.
