Real cat people are so in tune with cats that they are able to communicate at a psychic level. No words, no meows, no growls, no hisses. They and their animals just know what's in the other one's heart and mind. So the very idea of a translator is absurd. And here is a story that proves it.

Furious cat stalks over to a lady and takes a swipe at her after she uses cat-to-human translator app to 'talk feline

The translator app talks to the cat in a series of meows

Intrigued, the cat approaches the woman and climbs her leg

Before pouncing at her with its paw and baring its teeth

The video was captured in Nashville, Tennessee, USA

In the clip is Penny Adams, a professional photographer who volunteers her time at the Cat Shoppe Rescue centre.

Sitting on the floor, she announces to the camera that she is holding a cat-to-human language translator on her phone.

Penny, who doesn't herself know what it is being translated by the app, activates the meowing sound and immediately Flam, who sits underneath a table, becomes noticeably intrigued. Jumping up, the feline negotiates a number of dumbbells on the floor before making its way towards Penny.

With its tail poised, the cat maintains its eye-contact while lifting its paw and climbing up onto her leg. Suddenly it lashes out at her – opening its mouth to bare its teeth it strikes her with its paw.

Reacting by blocking the cat with her arm, Penny laughs in surprise as the insulted feline continues to bare its teeth before scuttling off.

Chica the DogSpider is the work of Polish prankster Sylwester Wardega, who dressed up his pooch in the fur-covered costume before releasing her on an unsuspecting public.

A hilarious video, which has had more than three million views on YouTube in just one day, shows the hairy creature lurking behind doorways, ready to pounce on its victims.

CUTE HAMSTER ENJOYING A BURRITO LUNCH AT A TINY TACO STAND BUILT BY HIS 'DADDY'

A video of a hamster tucking into his meal of bite-sized burritos has become an internet sensation, with more than 1.7 million views in just two days.

The video, listed as Episode One, shows a chef finely chopping up ingredients before wrapping them in a mini tortilla wrap. He then sets up a dining area, complete with a string of lights, and uses tweezers to serve up the tiny delicacy on a poker chip to his furry friend.

The video was posted on YouTube by HelloDenizen on April 29, and came with the simple catchline: 'Sometimes love is best expressed through tiny food'. It opens with scenes showing a chef carefully slicing roasted chicken, tomatos, herbs and other ingredients, before wrapping the burrito. The chef then uses a dental mirror to examine his tiny masterpiece, before setting up the dining area.

A striped piece of cloth around a board is used as a floor, and a chair and table, complete with white linen cloth, are arranged on top. To add to the pop up restaurant's ambiance, a string of fairy lights are put up, and a poker chip is placed on the table to serve as a plate.

Microscopic life in motion: Award-winning time-lapse videos reveal the growth of a bird embryo and even the insides a cell

From the construction of its fragile bone structure, to the development of individual organs and the sprouting of feathers - this video may make you think twice about eating quail eggs.

The winning embryo video was made by Dr. Gabriel G. Martins of The Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciencia and CBA in Lisbon. He created the time-lapse movie of a developing quail embryo using more than 1,000 separate images taken using a microscope. It has now been awarded first place in the third annual Nikon Instruments Small World in Motion photomicrography competition.

WILLIE THE CAT UNROLLS AND THEN RE-ROLLS ENTIRE ROLL OF TOILET PAPER

The video, titled Willie Is Better Than Your Cat, starts off with the adorable feline, rather irritatingly undoing an entire roll of toilet paper with his paw, before pausing and then changing his tact in a surprising and heart-warming gesture.

The grey tabby then proceeds to systematically bat the dispenser in the opposite direction, conveniently restoring the roll to its former, if a little crumpled, glory. And just when it looks like he is planning to unravel it once again, he stops and decidedly withdraws from his mission. 'That's very helpful, thank you,' Mr Thompson can be heard saying.

Arthur was a stray dog who decided to join a European Peak Performance Team during their treck through the jungle in South America. It all started when one of the members gave him a meatball. From then on Arthur followed them through all kinds of challenges. In the end his loyalty, bravery and devotion paid off.
