RHINO ROAD RAGE as the animal smashes into a car at an African wildlife park - ELEPHANTS, however, have tried to make love to cars with passengers still inside

What goes on in the mind of large wild animals when they see a car? You'd be surprised. This rhino, for example, may regard it as a rival trespassing on his territory, and he deals with it accordingly.

The footage was taken in Etosha National Park in Namibia by Alexandra Poier, who was sitting inside a nearby car at the time. No one was hurt.

Other animals feel unexpected feelings of affection and express them in rather awkward ways. Such as these elephants showing their romantic feelings and hopes for intimacy with cars, to the consternation of the passengers inside.

A raging rhinoceros charged at a camouflaged long-lens camera at the Kaziranga National Park in Assam, India

Fortunately wildlife photographer Dhritiman Mukherjee was not behind the camera when rhino smashed into it

He was using a remote trigger to take the shots after trying to get close to the animals for almost 14 days

The camera was found covered it mud, but it survived the encounter and was still in perfect working order

Poignant new footage captures an orphaned baby rhinoceros seeking solace from its keeper.

Four-month-old Gertjie is seen nuzzling a female member of staff from the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre in South Africa with his nose.

In a bid to get closer to her, the thick-skinned creature rolls down on to the floor and affectionately lays his head on her lap. Staff at the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre said it was a devastating sight finding Gertjie as the tiny animal wouldn't leave his mother's side and was 'crying inconsolably' for her.

Although rescue and conservation organizations do their best, elephants are still being murdered. Organizations raise orphans only to release them to places where they will be killed for their tusks. ELEPHANTS NEED TRULY SAFE RESERVES that can be properly patrolled and defended from poachers. Current protection arrangements are not enough. Arthur was a stray dog who decided to join a European Peak Performance Team during their treck through the jungle in South America. It all started when one of the members gave him a meatball. From then on Arthur followed them through all kinds of challenges. In the end his loyalty, bravery and devotion paid off.
