THIS IS AMERICA - Video appears to show a family taking shelter in the sewer through a manhole cover after a false alert of an inbound ballistic missile sparked panic in Hawaii on Saturday morning

• You wouldn't know it from watching CNN and other media ongoing controversy over whether Trump said "shithole" or "shithouse" when referring to dysfunctional nations in Africa (the utterance of those words denied by Trump and other Republicans present at the meeting).
• The media seem oblivious to the irony that the great USA itself cannot protect its citizens from nuclear fallout - or even have a decent system to warn citizens of an incoming attack, or to dismiss false alerts.  
• In addition, American infrastructure is crumbling, and military veterans languish waiting for proper health care and housing, and end up committing suicide in the hundreds.  The country has a large homeless population.  Thousands of Americans of all ages are dying from opioid overdoses without a national plan to help them.  
• Chicago's inner city is like a third world enclave, with rampant violent crime and the highest murder rate in the nation - almost all of it black-on-black violence.   Chicago, Illinois, is controlled by Democrat politicians who blame all minority shortcomings on white racism.

 

• Trump promised to take care of America first, but Congress and leftist activist judges continuously anguish over the feelings and welfare of other nations, while sabotaging the agenda Trump was elected to implement. 
• Then there is the ongoing threat of an EMP attack (electromagnetic pulse) that could occur as a result of a giant solar flare directed towards North America, or a nuclear bomb detonated in the atmosphere. 
• Either way the electric grid and all electronics would be fried and the USA would turn within hours and days into a place of scarcity, savagery, and millions of casualties from violence and starvation.  Remember how during the Texas hurricane floods there were heroes saving lives, but there were also mobs looting homes and stores.

Hawaii's 38-minutes of terror: How islanders were gripped by panic as phones and TV stations broadcast a false missile warning telling them to urgently seek shelter

 

• Alert warned people of a missile heading towards Hawaii Saturday morning
• Took 38 minutes for a second alert to be sent out explaining it was a false alarm
• Families huddled together crying and praying while waiting for the missile to hit
• Some people placed their children in storm drains, others messaged loved ones
• 'I was sitting in the bathtub with my children, saying our prayers,' one said 
• Local police were aware that a missile attack warning for Hawaii was false only five minutes after it was sent, but it took a full 38 minutes for authorities to correct the inaccurate information.  One police supervisor advised to continue evacuations until official channels reported back that the alert was an accidental release.

• Imagine you wake up one day without electric power.  None of your electronic devices works either.  You sense something is wrong, get dressed and head for your car to drive to the grocery store and stock up on essentials.  Your car, equipped as it is with electronic parts, won't start. 
• You're lucky enough to live within walking distance of a grocery store.  Once you get there it's total mayhem, people are trampling over each other to grab whatever they can.  No way to call police.  You walk back home wondering what is going on. 
• The days that follow are of pure savagery, with the country technically and culturally back in the Stone Age.  Bands of armed thugs loot stalled trucks containing food items, and roam cities stealing food and everything they can.  They kill whoever gets in their way. 
• The sick, unable to get medical aid, would begin to die.  Non-nursing babies would starve without formula.   
• Highways would be clogged with stalled vehicles.  Computers, phones, TVs, and radios would all be useless. 
• Remember, there is no transportation, no distribution of food or medicine, no clean water, no working electronics, and no power to run any of the machines we count on to maintain civilization.  And no police presence.    
• Along with social chaos, there is starvation.  Urban survivors not part of gangs of thugs would be reduced to eating their pets and wildlife.  Farmers would be unable to defend themselves against bands of thieves. 
• Good citizens with guns would fare better than those without them, but only temporarily.  Resources would eventually dwindle to nothing.  Unless you are one of those preppers who have thought of everything and are well stocked, well armed, and well hidden and protected, your chances of survival are zilch.   And this is the prospect for 90% of people living in the USA.
• Whether this EMP scenario is caused by a bomb detonated in the atmosphere by a foreign government or a fanatic, or by a giant solar flare directed at us, it does not matter.  An EMP catastrophe is not a matter of if, but of WHEN.  
• Congress has been remiss in addressing this issue and providing funds to fortify the US electrical grid.  As it stands now, there are not enough spare parts in America, and they would have to be imported.  It would take many months to reconstruct the grid, but first social order would have to be restored and the mess cleaned up. 
• Maybe coastal areas would start the rebirth, as they could more easily access supplies from overseas.  Maybe. 
• A disturbing question is WHO would be in charge of the country's reconstruction.  It's not inconceivable that it would be a foreign power.  China - desperate as it is for land and resources - would perhaps come to the rescue, at a high price.    
• So, dear American reader, when your President and Congressmen waste their time talking about marginal issues, ask them what exactly they are doing to  prepare the nation for an EMP catastrophe. 
• The Obama administration and the Democrats have said that the worst threat to the USA - besides Trump - is CLIMATE CHANGE!!!!
• The Climate Change campaign has been a ruse to divert attention away from real threats such as EMPs, nuclear power plants (NPPs), and overpopulation devouring ever shrinking natural resources while polluting the planet. 
• Please keep in mind that without electrical power to operate their machines, nuclear power plants go into meltdown.  After an EMP there would be a series of nuclear power plant meltdowns across the USA contaminating land and killing people.  At present a single case of loss of electrical  power in an NPP can be dealt with, but not when the country is in complete chaos.  
• The Trump administration appears not to have effective preparations for a solar-caused or man-made EMP that would  destroy the American civilization and kill 90% of the US population.

• There is no such thing as "clean nuclear energy".  Government authorities and experts have been lying to us. 
• Nuclear power plants (NPP) age within a few decades, and their decommissioning is extremely expensive. 
• There is NO safe way to deal with the ever increasing amount of nuclear waste.  Piles of it are being temporarily stored in barely secured places, often leaking radiation and contaminating the environment.
• There are recurrent serious malfunctions at NPPs all over the USA.
• Near-disasters are routinely ignored  by the media and scientists, so powerful is the nuclear industry lobby. 
• Environmental activists and scientists go hysterical over CO2 and climate change, but they are suspiciously silent about the enormous and looming threats of nuclear meltdowns.
• NPPs are dangerous in several ways. 
• (1)  Serious local malfunctions that can lead to  meltdowns. 
• (2) Natural catastrophes such as earthquakes and tsunamis that can render a NPP helpless and a source of immediate environmental contamination (as in Japan's Fukushima, which is still spewing tons of radioactive waste into the ocean).
• (3)  Terror attacks. 
• (4)  The very real possibility (not if but WHEN) of a giant solar flare hitting the USA and frying the electric grid and all electronics.  Without electricity to run their machinery NPPs will go into meltdown.
• (5)  Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) attack by detonation of one or more nuclear bombs in the USA atmosphere and producing the same effect as a giant solar flare, frying all electronic devices and the electric grid - leading to multiple NPP meltdowns.  
• In such a continental catastrophe, aside from radiation contaminating large swaths of North America and killing millions of people and animals, survivors would have to fight among themselves to stay alive with almost no resources. 
• The USA does not have the ability to repair a major failure of the nuclear grid. It would take years, probably decades, to bring the USA back from the stone age in some areas.  Areas near NPPs (such as the East Coast)would most likely remain too contaminated for hundreds, maybe thousands of years.   

An EMP attack by a jihadi, North Korea, or some other enemy nation, would bring chaos and catastrophe to the USA.  

The federal government has long known that electromagnetic pulses, or EMPs, pose a significant threat to America’s infrastructure, particularly the electrical grid. Yet federal agencies have done little to defend against this danger, as a congressional hearing last month shows.  EMPs are bursts of energy that can be caused by a nuclear detonation or a major solar storm. They induce massive voltage spikes in electronic devices and can irreparably damage all sorts of equipment—from large power transformers to household electronics.  An EMP produced by solar activity could cause extended blackouts for 40 million Americans and cost as much as $2.6 trillion, according to a 2013 study by Lloyd’s of London. The following article illustrates the folly of relying on nuclear power, while ignoring or outright lying about its dangers.  As you read it, remember how the USA, with the richest and most powerful government on the planet, was unable to help Americans during and after hurricane Katrina.  It took WEEKS to restore a minimum of normalcy and safety to the area, even though the city was within minutes from first responders and vital supplies. 

 

Your fearless leaders at state and federal level and other members of the elite are not too worried.  They count on state-of-the-art bunkers where they can survive for months and years in case of a major catastrophe affecting the nation.

 

CALIFORNIA SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT -  1800 TONS of Radioactive Waste has an Ocean View and Nowhere to Go.

Los Angeles Times - The massive, 150-ton turbines have stopped spinning. The mile-long cooling pipes that extend into the Pacific will likely become undersea relics. High voltage that once energized the homes of more than a million Californians is down to zero.

But the San Onofre nuclear power plant will loom for a long time as a landmark, its 1,800 tons of lethal radioactive waste stored on the edge of the Pacific and within sight of the busy 5 Freeway.

 

Across the site, deep pools of water and massive concrete casks confine high-power gamma radiation and other forms of radioactivity emitted by 890,000 spent fuel rods that nobody wants there.  And like the other 79,000 tons of spent fuel spread across the nation, San Onofre’s nuclear waste has nowhere to go.

 

The nation’s inability to find a permanent home for the dangerous byproduct of its 50-year-adventure in nuclear energy represents one of the biggest and longest running policy failures in federal government history.

The ongoing fixation with man-made climate change serves to divert attention from the real danger to all life on earth from the nuclear industry and from EMP events.  Well-meaning environmentalists have fallen for this ruse quite unaware of how they are being manipulated.    

• Clean, safe  nuclear energy is nothing but a hoax. There is no safe way to dispose of highly toxic nuclear waste, as it continues to accumulate.   
• Nuclear power plants have a relatively short life (a few decades at the most) and their decommissioning is extremely expensive. 
• A number of catastrophes can certainly precipitate the meltdown of all nuclear power plants (NPP) in an affected area.  
• For example, a major solar flare directed towards the USA and Canada would fry all electronics and destroy the electric grid.  It's not a matter of if, but when. 
• NPPs need electric power to function.  Without it they would go into meltdown in a matter of days, contaminating large swathes of the country, killing millions of people, and leaving survivors to starve in a world reduced to the stone age.
• A terror attack with one or more nuclear bombs strategically detonated in the atmosphere would have the same effect as a major solar flare. 
• Those bombs would produce an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) that would destroy the grid, unleashing a chain of events bringing chaos, famine, and savagery. 
• The real perpetrator (China, Russia, Iran, North Korea) could give the technology to jihadis, manipulate them into claiming responsibility, and thus save itself from American retaliation. 
• There is no plan for the short-term repair of a fried electric grid.  It is no exaggeration to say that it would result in the collapse of our civilization. 
• Add to that natural catastrophes such as major earthquakes and tsunamis, that would render NPPs inoperable and vulnerable to meltdown.
• The experiences with Katrina and other similar disasters prove that governments at all levels are incapable of dealing with major catastrophes, even when they claim to have plans in place.  
• The United States has NO CONTINGENCY PLAN in place to deal with the loss of the electric grid, or the social chaos that would ensue.  None whatsoever, although the government knows that millions would die.

There have been a small number of politicians and activists trying to call attention to the danger of EMPs, but Congress has chosen not to act.  The majority would rather listen to climate change hysterics, in spite of proven scientific manipulation of data for political reasons, including by the much cited government agency NOAA.   

 

Climate does change naturally over the years, centuries, and millions of years.  The fascinating science of geology gives evidence of continuous environmental change, some gradual, some abrupt and disastrous - all of it natural.  However, infinitely worse than man-made CO2 is the creation of the nuclear industry, which could wipe out civilization in a matter of days.

How to bring the USA to its knees

LIVE SCIENCE - One way to create a widespread and damaging electromagnetic pulse (EMP) would be to detonate a large nuclear weapon over the central United States, at an altitude of 25 miles to 500 miles (40 kilometers to 800 kilometers), according to the Commission to Assess the Threat to the U.S. from EMP Attack, in testimony before the House Armed Services Committee in July 2008.

At this height, a nuclear blast could interact with the ionosphere, the shell of electrons and electrically charged particles surrounding Earth, to create a series of electromagnetic pulses that could reach across a continent, according to the commission. Once a burst of atmospheric radiation hits the ground, it could induce strong currents in telephone and electrical cables, which can short out transformers, said Daniel Baker, a physicist at the University of Colorado.    

Transformers take high voltage current and "transform" it into low voltage current that can be used by households. But an EMP could derail this process, creating currents that overheat transformers and cause them to fail, Baker said.    An electromagnetic surge from a solar storm is a more likely threat for an EMP.

• Diver finds nuclear device that was dumped or exploded off the B.C. coast on Feb. 13, 1950, when an American B-36 bomber crashed while en route from Alaska to Texas.
• Allegedly, it was packed with lead – not plutonium – and TNT.  (Would they tell us if it was a real nuke?)
• None of the stories at the time of the crash detailed the payload the bomber had been carrying.
• But eventually it was discovered that the bomber’s mission was to simulate a nuclear attack on San Francisco, and the plane had been carrying a Mark IV nuclear weapon.
• The Mark IV was a giant bomb, weighing almost 11,000 pounds (4,900 kilograms).   It was similar to the atomic bomb that killed 39,000 to 80,000 people in Nagasaki, Japan. 
• The pilot said the bomb aboard the B-36 had lead in its core instead of plutonium, so it wasn’t a functional atomic bomb. But the crew decided to jettison it over water before abandoning the plane.

  Ben Rhodes, one of President Barack Obama's top advisers, has admitted that the administration lied about the dealings behind the nuclear agreement struck between Iran and world powers last summer.
• Regarding the media's support for the deal, Rhodes admitted in the interview that “We created an echo chamber.”
• Former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta said he believed at the time that Obama would not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons.  Asked whether he would make that assessment now, Panetta answered, “Probably not.”
• Rhodes dismisses all White House officials prior to Obama as "the Blob" - a bunch of unqualified and uneducated individuals who damaged the United States.  But then came Obama, the hero, to save the country.
• Rhodes admits that while the American public was led to believe that negotiations between the West and the Islamic Republic took off after the election of President Hassan Rouhani, misrepresented as a “moderate,” in reality negotiations with hard-liners began much earlier.
• He admits there is nothing moderate about Rouhani.
• Shortly after Rouhani was elected in 2013, he and Obama exchanged letters, and Obama later publicly reached out to Iran in a speech to the UN General Assembly.
• In November of that year, it was revealed that a preliminary deal between Iran and the West was made possible due to secret talks that the United States and Iran held for more than half a year and were authorized by Obama himself.
• Those discussions were kept hidden even from America's closest friends, including its five negotiating partners and from Israel.
•  The reason for the skewed presentation of the talks' timeline, said Rhodes on Sunday, was to enable the administration to sell the deal to a wider audience.  
• But he couldn't.  The fact is that 840 U.S. rabbis, over 200 U.S. generals and admirals, and 56 leading US nuclear weapons, arms control and intelligence experts signed other letters opposing the Iran nuclear agreement.

  A majority of Congress voted against the Iran deal and when Congress voted on it last September, the American people opposed the agreement by a 2-1 margin and 64% believed President Obama and Secretary Kerry had misled the public about the deal.
• In eight months, Ben Rhodes can get back to his former life — as he puts it, “drinking and smoking pot and hanging out in Central Park.” And presumably writing more fiction — this time perhaps the honest kind that does not pretend to be non-fiction. The entire world, except perhaps the world of fiction, will be better for it.

Russian television has accidentally broadcast top secret plans for the Kremlin's new nuclear torpedoes intended to create 'zones of extensive radioactive contamination'.

Two Kremlin-controlled channels, NTV and Channel One, showed a military official looking at the confidential document while filming a meeting of top officials in Sochi, Russia.

 

It contained drawings and details of a weapons system called Status-6, designed by Rubin, a nuclear submarine construction company based in Saint Petersburg.  

 

The nuclear torpedoes, to be fired by submarines, would create 'zones of extensive radioactive contamination making them unsuitable for military or economic activity for a long period,' says the document, which is clearly visible in the footage for several seconds.

When Hitler's henchmen were developing the preliminary steps to a nuclear bomb high in the mountains of Norway, teams of Norwegian patriots, with the help of Britain, sabotaged his dreams in several adventurous and highly risky operations.

 
Had a world leader with the ideology and character of president Obama been in charge during World War II - instead of Churchill and Roosevelt - he would have pushed for a policy of engagement with Hitler, a call for sympathy with German grievances, and an all out attempt to appease the German tyrant in the name of peace.
 
Nazism would have had an aura of legitimacy and victimhood -  not unlike that of many Muslim terrorist groups today, such as Hamas and the PLO - or the oppressive Islamic Republic of Iran itself. 

Maybe disparaging remarks against Nazism would have been characterized as "racist," and Nazi ideology would have been taught in the classrooms in the name of "understanding," - the way Islam is being pushed into the US curriculum by leftist educators.

Just like Iran today, Hitler was well on his way to develop a nuclear bomb when Churchill - in alliance with Roosevelt and Norwegian exiles -  decided to stop Hitler's nuclear dreams, or at least delay them until the Americans could catch up.

 

In more recent decades Israel repeatedly volunteered for the destruction of the Iranian nuclear facilities, but it was sternly warned not to dare to do so by the White House.

 

In 1981 Israel managed to destroyed the Iraqi nuclear reactor of Osirak in 1981 - to the horror and outrage of the White House.  This decisive operation prevented a much more lethal situation when the US had to confront Iraq in later years. 

 

There is no way to fully stop deranged dictators and oppressive regimes from acquiring nuclear weapons, but the timely destruction of their facilities seems to be the best option to this day.

 

The book Assault in Norway reads like a thriller, and narrates the actual plans and secret operations that destroyed the facilities where Hitler was developing "heavy water" or deuterium oxide, essential for the production of a nuclear bomb.
