FUNNY PICTURES OF SQUIRRELS IN MINI PLAYGROUND ESPECIALLY BUILT FOR THEM

Photographer Max Ellis, 51, spends hours working to ensure the wild squirrels take up their hilarious stances

Uses toys and food to encourage them to adopt human positions, then takes pictures at exactly the right moment

One photograph shows a squirrel appearing to pop a champagne cork, while another looks like it is lifting weights

Mr Ellis took the photographs after trying to work out new ways to entertain his 11-year-old son Gulliver

CUTE BABY SQUIRREL BREAKS HER LEG AND GETS A BRIGHT RED CAST

When this baby squirrel fell out of a nest and tumbled 75ft onto a concrete sidewalk, it suffered a broken ankle, a chipped tooth and a bloody nose. Luckily, the adorable creature was quickly taken to a vet by a concerned passer-by.

When the terrified animal arrived at City Wildlife in Washington D.C., it was given a bright red leg brace, was cleaned up by vets, and is now on the way to a full recovery.

The wildlife rehabilitation centre in the city posted a photo of the tiny rodent Facebook and said: This baby squirrel was brought into City Wildlife after she fell 75 feet from her nest on to the concrete sidewalk below. 'She suffered a bloody nose, a broken tooth, and a broken ankle. Luckily, just like children, this squirrel is young enough that her ankle should heal very quickly. Send her your well wishes on a speedy recovery!'

Arthur was a stray dog who decided to join a European Peak Performance Team during their treck through the jungle in South America. It all started when one of the members gave him a meatball.
