VIDEO OF MUSLIM WOMAN ATTACKING ISRAELI SOLDIERS AT A BUS STOP WITH A KNIFE - Why did the soldiers react in such a fearful way? - Was this another Arab attempt at suicide? Terrorists' families receive a salary for life - What science says about the Muslim mind shaped by 14 centuries of inbreeding and violent ideology

This following video captured by a dashboard camera elicits many questions.  Here are some of them, and their possible answers.

Why did this slightly built woman engaged in this attack she had no possible way of carrying out without being shot at?
Gitai Avisar attackIt could be the equivalent of  the well-known "suicide by cop" in the west.   A person attacks police only to be shot down.  A quick death with plenty of publicity, easier than a messier suicide.

In that part of the world women, girls, and sometimes males as well, have no other choice, after having committed some moral transgression.
Maybe a girl gets raped and her death is a way of restoring honor to her family.  Maybe she defied her parents by refusing to marry someone.  The reasons can be many.

More useful to the family dead than alive.  Suffering from the effects of Muslim inbreeding (marrying cousins is almost the rule), mental and physical disabilities are common, and people suffering from them are regarded as too much of a burden.  After the terrorists are either incarcerated or killed, the Palestinian Authority hails them as  heroes and pays salaries to their families  for life - with US and EU aid money, by the way.

Why didn't the Israeli soldiers tackle this woman and wrest the knife away from her?
Because attackers are sometimes armed with suicide vests.

Why did they show such reluctance to shoot her?
Because the IDF brass are ideologically leftist - that is pro-Palestinian - and the troops are under orders to avoid injuring Palestinians no matter what they do.  When attacked by lethal firebombs, soldiers choose to run instead of confronting the murderous attackers.  Those are orders.  According to Israeli authorities, a dead Israeli soldier is better than a dead Palestinian.

The Times of Israel says  she sought out Israeli civilian victims at the bus stop. This was not some noble attempt to sabotage an IDF military operation. It was just a plain hateful, slashing attack on Israel's soft-underbelly - its bus-traveling civilians at a bus stop.  As it turned out, she did encounter soldiers.  Did she come there with suicide on her mind, as several previous Arab-on-Israeli attackers were later found to have done?

David Israel of The Jewish Press writes:
On Tuesday a knife wielding female Arab terrorist approached a hitchhiking post at the Gitai Avisar junction in Samaria, an incident that ended in her death. However, the enclosed dashboard camera record of the incident reveals a troubling fact about the encounter: throughout the incident, it is painfully obvious that the two armed IDF soldiers are afraid to shoot the attacker.

They are afraid – but they are not afraid of the terrorist.  They are afraid to use their weapon against her and they do everything to avoid having to pull the trigger.  It takes the two soldiers a full 10 seconds, during which they keep retreating from the knife waving attacker, ordering her back as she continues to advance zombie fashion, until they are forced to shoot her.

Disproving the lie that Israel is a racist, apartheid state, Israeli-Arab Christian and Muslim girls are joining the IDF in increasing numbers, wanting to serve their country in a meaningful way. IDF service is only mandatory for Israeli Jews.

While this story is about Arab Christian and Muslim women joining the IDF, even more Arab Christian and Muslim men are also serving.

United with Israel (h/t Grant B)  Young Muslim girls are joining the fight, on Israel’s side,” journalist David Lazarus wrote in the daily Israel Hayom. “These courageous young women have a unique and important story to tell, and together with a growing number of Christian Arab girls, they are breaking new ground joining ranks with the Israeli army.”

HOW ISRAELI ARMY FEMALE PARAMEDICS PARTICIPATE IN THE WAR - First-hand IDF accounts

The resuscitation attempts inside moving tanks, the ceaseless shooting, the burnt aroma in the air – four paramedics, the only women who served in Gaza for a long period of time, tell of days filled with pain and pride.

On that terrible night, just days after cancelling her vacation abroad and returning to Israel, Staff Sergeant Yonat Daskal lay on the sand of Gaza and looked skyward. The 10 wounded soldiers who she had treated over the last few hours had all finally been evacuated to different hospitals within Israel.

“I looked up at the stars and tried to understand what had happened to me,” she said. “I told myself that today is Friday and I should have been with my family for Kiddush, or even in Mexico, but instead I’m in Gaza, in the reserves, and maybe that’s what was supposed to happen. Maybe I needed to be there to give my abilities to the wounded, guys from my battalion, 18-year-old soldiers who shouldn’t be in my care. What have they had time to do in their life?”

This was the first time since the fighting began that they met each other and shared experiences. The three women in regular service and another in the reserves were part of the group of paramedics who were the only women to serve in Gaza for several days straight during Operation Protective Edge.

APARTHEID IN ISRAEL? An Israeli Jew of African descent gives his life fighting for his country. And an Israeli Arab army commander is wounded, also fighting for Israel.

Moshe MalkoJerusalem Post - The IDF on Monday announced that Staff Sgt. Moshe Malko, 20, from Jerusalem, was among the 13 elite Golani soldiers killed in action in Gaza early on Sunday morning.  Yosef Hailo, a brother-in-law of Moshe, described him as “a courageous young man” who was always ready to support others.

“Moshe loved to help others, but especially his family,” Yosef told The Jerusalem Post. “He would do everything for others, he’d always volunteer for any task that needed doing, you could always get help from him,” he continued.

Yosef noted that Moshe’s older brother was murdered several years ago and that the crime has never been solved, saying that the psychological wound from this incident was still prevalent in the family and is now compounded by Moshe’s death.

“Because of the pain of his brother’s murder he always wanted to cheer up his other brothers and sisters, and make them laugh,” Yosef continued. “He himself was always laughing, he didn’t get annoyed or moody, and he always had a smile on his face.”

Moshe would help out paying the household bills and wished to advance in the army and gain a senior rank in order to help his family.

He last spoke with his mother on Friday and in keeping with his character remained upbeat and told her that everything would be ok.

Yosef said that the family wanted to the Jewish People to be strong in these difficult times and to keep fighting for the country.

Overnight Commander Col. Raslan Alian, an Arab Druze, lost 13 of his fighters and sustained light to moderate wounds in fierce fighting in northern Gaza’s Shuja’iya area, a Hamas stronghold and the source of no less than 10 tunnels and some 140 rocket strikes against Israel.  “I have a lot of soldiers over there and I need to get back to them,” Alian told doctors at Beersheba’s Soroka Medica Center, according to Israel’s Ynet news site.

Col. Alian didn’t tell his wife he was going into Gaza, but she already sensed it.  “My son was silent when I first told him,” she said, and when he asked why, replied that his father “had to serve as a personal example to his soldiers and officers, and that I was only praying for everyone’s safety.”
