Lining up for checkpoint inspection

Today is Canada's 150th birthday and celebrations have been lavish all over the country.  Canadians really know how to party. 

 

Sadly, in days prior to this anniversary all the media talk was not about the country's many achievements, but about the many strict security measures placed in Ottawa and in other main Canadian cities.  

 

Canadians should have been bragging about their beautiful country, but instead news reports were almost all focused on impending high security measures, and how the public would go through inspections like those at airports in order to prevent another Islamic terrorist massacre.  People would have to line up for a thorough check, no backpacks allowed, concrete barriers would be placed in strategic spots to prevent vehicular terror, army snipers would stand vigilant on roofs, and much more. 

 

A generation ago Canadians would have never thought that this momentous 150th anniversary of their independence would mean treating the citizenry as if they were in a war zone because of the country's changing demographics. 

 

Organizers were expecting at least half a million people at the main celebration in Ottawa, but only 20,000 to 25,000 showed up.  It was a bit rainy, but that would not have scared the famously tough Canadians.  However, the prospect of going through long lineups and something akin to airport security may have deterred many people.  Fear of gruesome terror and extreme security measures are now part of the new reality in the country.

A 33-year-old Muslim migrant to Canada, Walid Mustafa Chalhoub, was convicted of 24 charges of sexual assault and extortion against ten teenaged girls in Montreal. He pled guilty yesterday, part-way through his trial.

 

Chalhoub would find teenaged white girls, get them drunk and high, have sex with them and film it. Then he’d threaten to expose them, unless they paid him money, or had more sex with him.

 

One 16-year-old victim testified: “He said he could set my house on fire, to think of my family, that he was part of the Mafia.”

In December the liberal Canadian media cheered the Ottawa Children’s Choir for singing an Islamic prayer “Tala’ al-Badru ‘Alayna” during their December concert.

MEDIA CENSORS WORD "REPULSIVE" WHEN CANADIAN HERO TALKS ABOUT MUSLIM ACTS OF TERROR - Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers, who shot Muslim attacking Parliament, is honored by Israel during his visit to that country

Kevin Vickers, Canadian Parliament Sergeant-at-Arms, made a statement on how to deal with Muslim terror while on a visit to Israel to attend a Homeland Security conference.  His words were captured on this news video clip:

Following the Hamas terror attack Wednesday in Jerusalem–which injured several American citizens, including a child–both Hamas and the more moderate Fatah ruling party praised the terrorist responsible for the attack.

 

The same day, IS supporters worldwide took to Twitter to celebrate the fatal shooting of a Canadian soldier by a radicalized man that attacked the country’s Parliament building.

CONCERNED ABOUT POSSIBLE BACKLASH CANADIAN MUSLIM GROUPS HONOR VICTIMS OF TERROR - The disturbing background of national Muslim group disavowing killings - Muslim ambiguity when denouncing killing of "innocent victims".

• Canada suffered two separate terror attacks this week targeting soldiers and Parliament.   Two soldiers lost their lives.  The PM was only meters away from an armed terrorist.
• The National Council of Canadian Muslims, or NCCM/CAIR-CAN laid a wreath at the War Memorial, the site of one of the terror attacks.
• Canadian Muslim representatives, fearing backlash, were quick to disavow the killing of "innocent victims"
• The words "innocent victims" is rather ambiguous, since Islam mandates the killing of those who dare to criticize and oppose Islam. 
• Muslims everywhere, including "moderates," support and even call for the killing of innocent Jews and Israelis. 
• Palestinian leaders fully endorsed the killing of a Jewish baby in Jerusalem this week.  Blamed it on the "occupation" and called the terrorist a "hero".
• The pro-Palestinian US State Department reaction to the killing of an American baby in Jerusalem was rather dismissive, telling Israel to keep calm and avoid escalating the situation.
• The NCCM - or CAIR-CAN, as it used to be called - has a disturbing background of  litigious activities against critics and even against the Prime Minister.
• According to researchers, the NCCM or CAIR-CAN has always had clear links to Islamist groups.

While remaining silent at Islam's ongoing carnage all over the world, whenever Muslim violence touches countries such as Canada and the United States, Muslim organizations routinely make statements centered on their own victimhood, raising concern about possible backlash against resident Muslims.

And while they often fully endorse violence against Israelis as a means to an end - the dismantlement of Israel - and join the chorus of demonization of that country, they are extremely sensitive to perceived slights to Islam.

Muslims killing Canadians in their own country

 

That has been the case with the latest cases of Muslim terror in Canada.  During the past week TWO Canadian soldiers were murdered by Muslims. 

One was deliberately ran over by a car, the other one was shot.

This in the context of many ongoing police investigations of Canadian radical Muslims.

The terrorist - Michael Zehaf Bibeau - after shooting Cpl Cirillo, went deep inside Parliament with the intention to kill some more - maybe even the Prime Minister himself. 

A one point he was only meters away from where the PM was meeting with other parliamentarians.   A shootout with security ensued and Zehaf Bibeau was gunned down.

 

His father, Bulgasem Zehaf,  was an active jihadist who left Canada to return to his native Libya to fight with the Libyan Islamic 'resistance'. 

 

On the day of Cpl Cirillo's murder, Zehaf junior had been denied a passport to travel to Syria, due to his extensive criminal record and fundamentalist Islamic views.  As a reaction, Michael Zehaf decided to kill some Canadians instead. 

 

Muslim reaction to terror in Canada

 

During media interviews, Muslim representatives expressed the usual platitudes of regret about the murders, but most of their concern was focused on how Muslims would be perceived by the general population, and their fears of a possible backlash.  By backlash they don't necessarily mean violence, but an increase in wariness of Islam among Canadians - otherwise known as "Islamophobia" - fear of Islam.

TERRORIST MURDERED A BABY IN ISRAEL TODAY - In typical Palestinian reaction, Hamas endorsed the killing - But Canada Liberal Party leader in response to terror in Ottawa says violence is an aberration of true Islam.

Even 'moderate' Palestinian Fatah party, honored the terrorist who murdered the baby and attacked eight other innocent Israelis.  Proclaimed him as "hero".  That's Islam.

It was a traumatic day for Canada today, with the murder of a soldier guarding the National War Memorial in Ottawa by a Canadian Muslim.  The shooting was followed by another shootout inside Parliament Hill.  The terrorist was apparently searching for more victims - or for particular ones.  He was gunned down by a guard.

In the aftermath, Justin Trudeau - the leader of the Canadian Liberal Party - son of former PM Pierre Trudeau, had this to say on his official statement:

To our friends and fellow citizens in the Muslim community, Canadians know acts such as these committed in the name of Islam are an aberration of your faith. Continued mutual cooperation and respect will help prevent the influence of distorted ideological propaganda posing as religion. We will walk forward together, not apart.

 

An aberration of their faith?  
 
The Koran and Hadith are full of calls to murder the infidel.  That's Sharia Law, and any good Muslim is obligated to follow it.   
 
The greatest genocide ever is the one perpetrated by Islam:  at least 250 million non-Muslim fell victim to Islam conquest and oppression.  Add to that the murder of Muslims by other Muslims - as in the Shia-Sunni conflict, and the numbers really go up. 
 
Wherever you look to in the Muslim world there is violence and murder. 
 
Mr Trudeau is very young and still needs to learn more about international politics.
 
On a Ladies' Night fundraising late last year he said that the country he admired the most was China.

 There is a level of admiration I actually have for China because their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around on a dime and say we need to go green, we need to start, you know, investing in solar. There is a flexibility that I know Stephen Harper must dream about: having a dictatorship where you can do whatever you wanted, that I find quite interesting.

Terror in Jerusalem

Today there were several terror attacks in Israel, one of them resulted in the murder of three-month old baby girl Chaya Zisel Baron, and the injury of eight people who were waiting at a Light Rail stop in Jerusalem.  A private car driven by a Muslim veered off the road and deliberately plowed into them.  The terrorist attempted to escape but was shot by police.

'Moderate' Fatah party honors terrorist as a hero, pledges loyalty to him.

In the meantime Fatah, the party of "moderate" Mahmoud Abbas, Israel's partner for peace, honors the terrorist who killed baby Chaya Zisel Baron and injured eight others.  

Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas's senior aid Sultan Abu Al-Einen already hailed the Hamas murderer of a baby in Jerusalem on Wednesday as a "hero" - now Abbas's Fatah party is keeping the terror glorification going.

Abbas's Fatah faction posted an obituary for the terrorist on its official Facebook page Thursday, as revealed Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), in which it called his death "his wedding" in a reference to the Islamic belief that "martyrs" are wedded to 72 virgins in paradise.

"The Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) - Silwan branch accompanies to his wedding the heroic Martyr Abd Al-Rahman Al-Shaludi, who carried out the Jerusalem operation, in which settlers in the occupied city of Jerusalem were run over," wrote Fatah.

The page of Abbas's "moderate" Fatah then addressed the dead terrorist with the words "rest in peace! We are loyal to you."

A day after this terrorist attack, Arabs target children in kindergarten - a usual occurrence.

Masked Arabs threw rocks at a Jerusalem children's kindergarten Thursday morning. No injuries or damage were reported. Police and border patrol are attempting to determine the location of the suspects, who fled. 

It is unclear if the kindergarten which was attacked is the same one targeted by Arab thugs late last month. That shocking attack was caught on camera.

In addition to the attack at the kindergarten, stones were thrown at the light rail station in Shuafat in Jerusalem Thursday morning. The train was damaged, but no injuries were reported.

The terrorist, later identified as 21 year-old Abdur Rahman Slodi, a Hamas member who has been jailed for terrorist activity (they routinely free terrorists in Israel), was shot at by police as he attempted to flee the attack scene.

Shimon Helperin, the infant's grandfather, said that the Ziso family had been waiting for a child for years. 

Helperin and his wife had arrived in Israel specifically to meet their grandchild on Wednesday and were  forced to go immediately to the hospital, instead.

CBC - Parliament Hill came under attack today after a man with a rifle shot a soldier standing guard at the National War Memorial in downtown Ottawa, before seizing a car and driving to the doors of Parliament Hill's Centre Block nearby.

 

MPs and other witnesses reported several shots fired inside Parliament, and a gunman has been confirmed dead inside the building, shot by the House of Commons Sergeant-at-Arms, according to MPs' eyewitness accounts.   The soldier's condition has not been confirmed.

 

MP John Williamson tweeted that the Conservative caucus has been told "one CAF soldier was killed," adding "a moment of silence followed." CBC News has confirmed the soldier is a reservist from Hamilton.

The prime minister was on the Hill at the time of the shooting, but was safely taken away. It's believed one suspect is still at large.
 

Ottawa Civic Hospital confirmed two people have been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, one with a gunshot wound.

 

Ottawa police confirmed shots were also fired in three locations: the war memorial, inside Centre Block and near the Rideau Centre east of Parliament Hill, although earlier reports of shots inside the shopping mall have been denied by police.

 

The downtown area remains in police lockdown.

Alain Merisier, who works at the cafeteria in one of the Parliament Buildings, told CBC News that he saw a man in a car at the Centre Block with a long gun.

CBC -  On Monday, Martin Couture-Rouleau struck two members of the military with his car in a St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Que., parking lot in what CSIS has described as "the violent expression of an extremist ideology."  One of those victims, Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent, has since died

 

The RCMP say they arrested Martin Couture-Rouleau,  as he was about to leave the country last summer, but didn't have evidence to charge him with any crime.​

A 25-year-old restaurant worker is accused of planning to storm Parliament Hill, behead Prime Minister Stephen Harper, take hostages and behead them unless the group’s demands were met, according to his lawyer.

Gary Batasar, the lawyer for Steven Chand (also known by his Muslim name Abdul Shakur), emerged from court Tuesday saying Crown prosecutors had provided him with an eight-page "summary" of the charges against his client and 16 other men arrested last week.

 

"My client is being accused of plotting to storm the Parliament buildings, take hostages (and) make demands to remove Canadian troops from Afghanistan and to free Muslim prisoners," Batasar said outside the Brampton, Ont. courthouse.

 

"He is supposed to have planned to behead hostages if his demands weren’t met ... and to want to behead the prime minister. The last thing was that they were going to storm the CBC building downtown (in Toronto) to take over communications to broadcast their message."

 

Chand is one of 17 men, all Muslims, who were arrested Friday and charged with planning a terrorist attack. Police said the men were planning to build a simple but effective bomb using fertilizer and diesel fuel.

 

Sources said the men were in an advanced stage of planning two attacks: a truck bombing to destroy a significant building and an attack involving opening fire on a crowded public place.
