But Rich Wilcock, 42, suddenly noticed that Leia was making a lot of noise by the water on the shore and sniffing the ground and making a 'right old fuss'.
She had found a dolphin stranded on the pebble beach and unable to get back in to the water - so Mr Wilcock went to help.He waded into the sea and dragged the stranded dolphin back into deeper water under the mammal was able to swim away.

Mr Wilcock told the Daily Post: 'She kept coming up to me, barking and nudging me, she must have smelt the dolphin from a mile off.
'At first I thought it was a baby shark, it was only about one and half foot but on a closer inspection I could see the blow hole on top of his head and realised it was a dolphin. I combed the beach for a while afterwards and stayed for an hour or so to make sure he made it back out to sea.'
