Most dogs and cats act as therapy animals. Other than dogs with jobs, the rest of them are companions, and therefore they play a key role in our mental health. They are children's best friends, and sometimes they are the elderly's reason for getting up in the morning.
These wonderful creatures deserve better than being the target of the global warming pseudo-science, which has been proven fraudulent time and again.
Earth's climate has been changing, sometimes abruptly and dramatically, for the past 4.5 BILLION years. This is part of the normal evolution of the planet, and the causes are as varied as the sun's weather, and Earth's geology itself.
Climate change is not going to unleash immediate catastrophe to life on Earth. But a nuclear meltdown or an electro-magnetic pulse (EMP) frying all our electronics might. Read more about this truly alarming subject further down this page.

KILL A PET TO SAVE THE PLANET? Just how fascistic are climate change activists and scientists becoming?

ACCORDING TO CLIMATE CHANGE SCIENTISTS: Think before you give Lucky and Tiger another mouthful! They may look cute and affectionate, your dog and your cat, but at heart, they are ravening planet-destroying creatures whose insatiable appetite for meat and deadly feces threatens to kill us all with deadly global warming.

Those are the conclusions of a study from UCLA’s Institute of the Environment and Sustainability on the Environmental impacts of food consumption by dogs and cats. According to the study, by geography professor Gregory S. Okin, the 163 million cats and dogs in the U.S. alone eat so much meat that if they were a country they would be the fifth largest meat consumer after Russia, Brazil, the U.S., and China. Also, they produce 5.1 million tons of feces — the same as is produced by 90 million human Americans.

Indeed, 25 to 30 percent of the environmental impact of meat consumption in the United States is created by cats and dogs. Their carbon footprint — about 64 million tons of carbon dioxide each year — allegedly has the same “climate impact as a year’s worth of driving from 13.6 million cars.” The report’s author insists that he isn’t literally suggesting that America should have a mass pet cull:

“I like dogs and cats, and I’m definitely not recommending that people get rid of their pets or put them on a vegetarian diet, which would be unhealthy.”

Hmm. It’s the half of him that’s not joking that I think should worry us.
