SHERIFFS DENOUNCE DHS POLICY OF RELEASING CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS - NARCO TERRORISTS OPERATING FREELY IN THE USA

In an article by The Washington Times, sheriffs across the country are warning about the violence occurring in the interior of the United States as a result of Mexican Drug Cartels entering the US illegally through our porous southern border.

These cartels engage in such activity as prostitution, human trafficking, drug trafficking, kidnapping and money laundering. If that isn’t bad enough, these cartels are recruiting “affluent white teenagers” to help them encrypt software for digital money-laundering and “hacking into government databases.” More shockingly, these same cartels are recruiting our own agents into their organizations to keep one step ahead of the law.

Frederick County, MD, Sheriff Chuck Jenkins believes the federal government can’t take care of this problem alone. He thinks all state and local law enforcement officers “need to be able to enforce immigration laws to be effective.” In 2008, Jenkins’ office partnered into an agreement with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement to counteract this problem. In Frederick County, MD, the sheriff’s office “detained 1,250 illegal immigrants, 50 of whom had connections to Mexican drug cartels and organized crime,” Sheriff Jenkins said.

The Department of Homeland Security has authorized the release of thousands of criminal illegal aliens the agency captured and charged with committing crimes.

Republican House Judiciary Committee members have requested additional information from DHS ICE after the release of a report indicating ICE “charged only 195,000, or 25 percent, out of 722,000 deportable aliens they encountered.”

The report, conducted by the conservative Center for Immigration Studies, indicated ICE released “convicted criminal aliens 68,000 times in 2013.”

Lamar Smith (R-TX) requested additional information contained in the CIS report after testimony in late February given by DHS Sec. Jeh Johnson before Congress. Unsurprisingly, the DHS has failed to respond. This was in violation of the DHS’s own policy, issued in the same month, whereby “component heads within DHS” were instructed to respond to congressional inquiries within 10 days.

House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte, along with Smith and other House Judiciary Republicans, issued a letter to Johnson requesting DHS provide the information originally requested by Smith to the committee with more detail.

The DHS had not provided an interim response nor produced the information requested by Smith.

The DHS has apparently given the House Judiciary Committee the “official finger.”

According to the Committee’s letter to Johnson:

Of note, CRS found that of those released, about 17% of the unlawful and criminal aliens, or 26,412, were rearrested on criminal charges within three years of release. These 26,412 recidivists accounted for a total of 42,827 arrests and 57,763 alleged violations. The categories of crimes charged include nearly 8,500 DUIs (14.6%), over 6,000 drug violations (10.9%), more than 4,000 major criminal offenses (7.1%), which includes murder, assault, battery, rape, and kidnapping, nearly 3,000 theft offenses (4.9%), and over 1,000 other violent crimes (2.1%), which includes carjacking, child cruelty, child molestation, domestic abuse, lynching, stalking, and torture. The crimes committed included 59 murders, 21 attempted murders, and 542 sex crimes.

It is obvious to see how “amnesty” for illegal aliens will truly benefit America. Not only have ALL illegal immigrants violated the immigration law, making them criminals, others have repeatedly committed the crimes cited by the CRS. These are just the known crimes. How many of these crimes could have been committed by illegals that have not been arrested, charged and convicted?

The Telegraph: The huge increases in migrants over the last decade were partly due to a politically motivated attempt by ministers to radically change the country and "rub the Right's nose in diversity", according to Andrew Neather, a former adviser to Tony Blair, Jack Straw and David Blunkett.

He said Labour's relaxation of controls was a deliberate plan to "open up the UK to mass migration" but that ministers were nervous and reluctant to discuss such a move publicly for fear it would alienate its "core working class vote". As a result, the public argument for immigration concentrated instead on the economic benefits and need for more migrants.
