Lions appear to pose for a family portrait as three lioness and eight cubs all stare
The spectacular images were taken by Barbara Fleming at the Serengeti Loliondo Conservation in Tanzania this month. The photographer was able to capture the once in a lifetime moment when a lioness and eight lovable cubs stare directly into the lens of her camera.

The huge fall in lion numbers worldwide is blamed largely on habitat loss and encroachment by humans in the wild

Serengeti is derived from the Maasai language and means 'Endless Plains'. The national park area extends to roughly 12,000 square miles
