Kevin Vickers, Canadian Parliament Sergeant-at-Arms, made a statement on how to deal with Muslim terror while on a visit to Israel to attend a Homeland Security conference. His words were captured on this news video clip:

No matter how repulsive crimes can be, we must respect the dignity of people, and that's how we can build trusting relationships.

But although the reference is still on the video interview, it has been eliminated from written news reports. On we go protecting Islam and denying its true nature.

But be as it may, Mr Vickers can afford to call for respecting the Muslim community because he has only experienced ONE case of Muslim terror at home.

Israelis are again besieged by a third Intifada, a 24/7 rampage campaign of Muslim terror that particularly targets civilians. A popular Arab song calls for the murder of Jewish babies.

Their websites and billboards also call for the murder of civilians, particularly using a vehicle as a weapon.

It is doubtful that it is respect that comes first to mind when Israelis are terrorized by car terrorists while waiting for a bus or crossing the street. Or when they are afraid of being being attacked by Arabs wielding knives or lobbing firebombs while walking down the street. That's daily life in Israel.

Mr Vickers has been given special honors by the Israeli parliament, the Knesset. He was credited with shooting and killing an armed Muslim terrorist who rushed into the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa right after murdering a soldier guarding the War Memorial outside the building.

CBC - The House of Commons sergeant-at-arms who shot the gunman who stormed the halls of Parliament last month earned praise from Israel's prime minister on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers Wednesday in the Knesset.

During their meeting, Vickers described to Netanyahu the events of Oct. 22, when gunman Michael Zehaf-Bibeau killed a soldier at the National War Memorial before storming the halls of the Centre Block.

Vickers was hailed a hero after he shot Zehaf-Bibeau. Many MPs who were in Parliament that day credit the 58-year-old with saving their lives.

Netanyahu praised Vickers for his bravery and quick response, according to a statement from his office.

During his visit, Vickers received gifts from Israeli officials and toured the grounds of the Knesset. In a video released by the Knesset, he said he was "touched and humbled" to be visiting the legislature.

Vickers brushed off personal compliments about his actions in Parliament last month, noting that it was a group of people who helped stop the assailant. "On that day in particular, it was a real team effort," he said.

He added that the biggest lesson he's learned from the Ottawa shootings is the importance of working with the community.

"Community is part of everyday policing; it's part of everyday security. We have to be very active and proactive in identifying people with issues prior to them surfacing," he said. "This is not an issue just for security, this is everybody's issue."
