RADIOACTIVE BELTS PULLED FROM THE MARKET IN BRITAIN

Women's leather belts sold by the fashion website ASOS have been recalled after the metal studs in them were found to be radioactive. They were made using recycled radioactive scrap metal in India.
The high price of metal has led manufacturers to use recycled material, without knowing for certain where it comes from, and what use it originally had. There have been several reports of radioactive items of daily consumer use being sold in the United States.
