US GOVERNMENT THREATENS ISRAEL WITH GLOBAL BOYCOTTS

John Kerry Threatens Israel With Boycotts if Talks Fail

Israel's D. Defense Minister responds to new boycott threats by US Sec. of State Kerry: 'Friends don't put ultimatums on Israel's security.'

By Ari Yashar, Israel National News

US Secretary of State John Kerry on Saturday threatened Israel that a failure in the peace talks would lead to global boycotts and delegitimization of the Jewish state. The warning comes as no surprise to those familiar with reports earlier in the month, which revealed that Kerry is orchestrating the European boycotts against Israel.

Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon responded to Kerry's threats of boycotts, saying "we respect Secretary of State Kerry but will not hold talks with a gun to our head. Friends don't put ultimatums on the security of the state of Israel."

Speaking at a security council in Munchen, Germany, Kerry also mentioned Defense Secretary Moshe Ya'alon's comments calling Kerry "messianic" and "obsessive" in trying to force Israel to submit to a peace deal, which would include massive territorial withdrawals and an Arab capital in Jerusalem.

"I'm a little surprised by the articles quoting statements on obsession or a fanatical effort to try and achieve peace," remarked Kerry. "We're just working hard, and I still am full of hope that our efforts will succeed and bring a peace agreement."

At the same time that he rejected accusations of "fanaticism," Kerry stated "we're working hard, because the consequences of failure are unacceptable to us." Kerry's plan reportedly includes Israeli withdrawals along the 1949 Armistice lines.

Danon declared in response "we will make decisions that guard the interests of the state of Israel. If we made choices based on the various forecasts of boycotts, we wouldn't be here today. In the past we saw that wherever the IDF wasn't present terror takes root."

Following the 2005 "Disengagement" plan that expelled all Jews from Gaza, the terror group Hamas took over the area and launched several waves of deadly attacks, resulting in two major counterterrorism operations in 2009 and 2012.

The ceasefire that was brokered by the Egyptians after the 2012 Operation Pillar of Defense was assessed as being dead by some security officials earlier this month following ongoing rocket barrages from Gaza.

This is not the first time the US Secretary of State has threatened Israeli security or interests in the event his country's "peace initiative" is not adopted by the Jewish state.

Last November, Kerry threatened that Israel would face a "Third Intifada" - or violent uprising - if talks did not end with a "Palestinian state" in Judea and Samaria.  (As in on cue, this was followed by a sharp increase in Arab terror in Israel.)

This is not only about Israel's security.
It is about much more than that.

The land in question was always Jewish land.  It is where the ancient kingdom of Judea used to be.  There was never another "country" in that area.  It was occupied successively by Romans, Arabs from the Arabian peninsula (today's Saudi Arabia), Ottomans, Britain, and Jordan.

In 1967 Israelis liberated the area.  But the anti-Semitic world decided to call the rightful owners "occupiers".

Although the large majority of Jews were sent to exile after the Romans destroyed Judea and the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, there was always a Jewish population in the land the Romans had renamed "Palestine".

There is a profound ethical failure in delegitimizing the true indigenous population of Israel in order to impose another (there are many others) Arab country on Jewish land.

The land now occupied by the kingdom of Jordan was part of the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine.  The British were put in charge of this Mandate with the specific purpose of eventually returning this land for the establishment of a  "Jewish home".  The British violated this mandate and partitioned the land giving Jordan - a brand new country that had never existed before - to some Arab king.  The British wanted to ingratiate themselves with the Arabs and their oil, apart from the fact that the British were always anti-Semitic.

Today's United Nations is bound by all agreements made under the League of Nations.  Therefore any demand for a further partition of Israel to deprive it of Jewish land it liberated during its defense in the 1967 war - when Arab countries ganged up on Israel to destroy it - is illegal.

Read "Resources" on Office of Israeli Constitutional Law website for legal documentation on Israel's legitimate right to the land in question:

Now, you may ask yourselves, why does the Israeli prime minister seem to agree to another partition, while calling for "Two Countries for Two Peoples" ?

The reasons are very complex and involve to a large degree the pressure exerted over Israeli authorities by outside countries, particularly the United States.  The United States has a disgraceful record of manipulating foreign governments and politicians, often creating the conditions for "regime change".  The State Department and CIA operatives have their ways of persuasion to influence a country's policy.  But they are not alone in this project.

The concerted media and diplomatic attacks being organized by the world against Israel are a clear case of international bullying.  They have zeroed in on Israel while ignoring war, abuses, oppression, carnage and all kinds of violations of human rights in other countries, including Arab countries, in order to psychologically and economically break Israel.  For a people who have already endured centuries of persecution and a Holocaust, what they are undergoing now is vicious harassment and bullying in the name of "peace".

The United States and all other countries and organizations involved in this bullying, including boycotting and pro-partition churches, should be deeply ashamed of themselves.

As the Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper recently said, anti-Semites are using the Palestinian issue to attack Israel.  The language they use is not as crude as that used by the German Nazis, but the anti-Semitic motivation is the same.

There is ample proof of Palestinian enthusiastic collaboration with Hitler in the design and implementation of the Holocaust.

Their leader at the time, the Mufti of Jerusalem, lived in Germany where he took active part in creating Muslim Nazi militias in Europe, and in the design of the Final Solution.  He was not prosecuted at Nuremberg.  He was allowed by the Allies to return to the Middle East to indoctrinate young Arab leaders for the destruction of Israel and the Jews.  Two of his disciples were Yassir Arafat and the Mahmood Abbas, current Palestinian president.

Why is the United States administration so intent on partitioning Israel to give a country to those who collaborated with Hitler's Final Solution?

Palestinian Leader Amin Al Husseini, Mufti of Jerusalem, spent World War Two in the Third Reich collaborating with Hitler in the specific plans for the extermination of Jews.  He created a Muslim-Nazi division for Hitler's SS army, notorious for repeated mass atrocities.
