THE BRUTAL ONLINE BULLYING OF ACTRESS KIM NOVAK - FOR HER ADVANCED AGE AND FOR HAVING LOST HER LOOKS

I do not watch the Oscars or follow celebrity news, but this morning I found the web filled with unkind and even cruel remarks against Kim Novak, who made a short appearance at the ceremony.

I've always admired her. As an actress she was classy and elegant, with an unusual beauty. She appeared in a number of movies with top stars. You may have seen her in Hitchcock's Vertigo with James Stewart, and in Pal Joey with Frank Sinatra and Rita Hayworth.

At the peak of her career she got tired of Hollywood and moved to a ranch in Oregon to live close to nature and real life. She absolutely loves animals and has been happily married to a vet for almost forty years.

There is hardly any sense of shame online at the shabby and cruel treatment of this woman, just because she is 81 years old and her looks reflect her age and her state of health. Even the mainstream media has ganged up on her, joining twitters in expressing cruel comments for something she has no control over - her age and her looks.

Thank you, I felt the same way. It saddens me that people would viciously attack this woman who's done nothing wrong except look bad. They should redirect their energies towards Vladimir Putin maybe.
