* This hilarious photograph captures a terrified dog clinging on to the back seat of a car as he heads out with his 'boy racer' owner.

* Freddy the bulldog is seen looking anxiously out of the window while trying to get closer to seven-year-old Harrison, who is giggling in the back.

* The picture was taken by Amanda MacCorquodale, 34, of Southampton, who said it proves her boyfriend Matt Wyatt, 36, drives as if he is 'playing a computer game'.

* But Mr Wyatt insists he is a better driver than his girlfriend.
