The look of love: Chameleons may be cold-blooded but there is no mistaking the affectionate look in his eye as he gazes at Winston
Continue reading and see more images of Winston and Kammer enjoying life together.
One is a cold-blooded amphibian, the other is known as man's best friend - yet an unlikely bond has formed between a Labrador and a tiny chameleon and the best friends are all but inseparable.
Winston, a six-year-old yellow Labrador and one-year-old lizard Kammer do everything together, including eating their meals in matching bowls and playing in their garden.
The duo don't let their substantial size difference get in the way of having a good time and when they are not enjoying themselves basking in the sun or exploring their house, they even nap together - with Winston often perching on top of Winston's head.
Owner Scott Crawford documents all of their adorable escapades together on film.
Manners cost nothing: An embarrassed-looking Winston stoically ignores Kammer's unfortunate lapse in etiquette after he spotted a snack
Mr Crawford, 44, from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, said: 'You just can't keep them away from each other.
'Despite their different sizes - and the fact they have free reign in the house - they are just so natural together. They eat meals together, take naps next to each other and just like relaxing in the sun too.'
It's not the first time Winston has got on well with a lizard friend. Mr Crawford once had another chameleon named Geoffrey, who was also known to play with the dog from time to time.
Mr Crawford, a TV repairmanm said: 'I've never seen anything like a dog and chameleon being this close. Winston really liked Geoffrey but he seems even closer to Kammer. I have a six-month-old lab puppy called Heidi too, but she doesn't get too much attention from these two.'
Opposites attract: Kammer the Chameleon is known to take a nap on best friend Winston's head from time to time
Chameleons are a distinctive breed of lizard. There are around 180 different species of chameleon, which come in a range of colours, and many species have the ability to change colour at will.
Chameleons are distinguished by their feet; their very long tongues; their swaying gait; and crests or horns on their distinctively shaped heads.
Chameleons' eyes are independently mobile, but in aiming at a prey item, they focus forward in coordination, affording the animal stereoscopic vision.
They are found in warm habitats that range from rain forest to desert conditions, various species occurring in Africa, Madagascar, southern Europe, and across southern Asia as far as Sri Lanka.
The Labrador Retriever, also known as simply Labrador or Lab, is one of several kinds of retrievers, a type of gun dog.
Labradors are athletic, playful, and the most popular breed of dog by registered ownership in the US, U.K, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
Labradors are often trained to aid people who are blind and people with autism, act as therapy dogs, and perform screening and detection work for law enforcement and other official agencies.
Grubs up: The pair may eat different meals for dietary reasons but they still enjoy lapping up their dinner from matching bowls
