- Liberal progressives and their radical leftist allies seem unaware that their tactics and their philosophies have a lot in common with those of 20th century tyrants.
- "Nazi" was a shortcut for the party's real name, the National Socialist Workers' Party, which supported leftist socialist principles.
- After violently competing with Communists on the streets, the Nazis managed to gain full power and to hunt them down, establishing themselves as the sole political power in Germany and Europe.
- Characterizing the Nazis as right wing has been a historically deceitful propaganda tool by the left in their quest to attract idealistic anti-fascistic youth.

- While the Nazis enslaved and murdered millions, nobody talks about the many more millions enslaved and murdered by Stalin in the name of socialism. And the left denounces Pinochet, but adores mass murderers Che Guevara and Fidel Castro.
- In the meantime we seem unaware of how authoritarian notions of Orwellian censorship and one-party-ideology have begun to creep into our lives and even into our laws - all in the name of some lofty ideal of social justice. The notion of diversity becomes a sad joke when diversity of thought and speech are not allowed.
- Professor Jordan Peterson's videos are worth watching because they analyze issues from a scientific and rational - not ideological - point of view. He clears our mindscape of the convoluted, ideologically-driven spin pushed by leftist intellectuals in subjects such as how to conduct our lives ethically and rationally.
- Watch him as he demolishes with arguments - not with leftist noise and violence - a politically correct journalist, as he explains some of the notions that got him into trouble with his university and the authoritarian left.

Dr. Peterson is a professor at the University of Toronto, a clinical psychologist and the author of 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos (Jan 2018, Penguin Books).
His now-classic book, Maps of Meaning: The Architecture of Belief, offers a revolutionary take on the psychology of religion, and the hundred or more scientific papers he published with his colleagues and students have substantively advanced the modern understanding of creativity and personality.
As a Harvard professor, he was nominated for the prestigious Levinson Teaching Prize, and is regarded by his current University of Toronto students as one of three truly life-changing professors.
His classroom lectures on mythology and psychology, based on Maps of Meaning, were turned into a popular 13-part TV series on TVO.
Dr. Peterson’s YouTube channel, Jordan Peterson Videos features his university and public lectures (including the most recent 15-part biblical series), responses to the polarizing political crises of today, and interviews with people such as Camille Paglia, Jonathan Haidt and Ayaan Hirsi Ali.
As of December 2017, the channel has 300 videos, 550,000 subscribers, and 30 million views.

WHY SO CONTROVERSIAL?
University of Toronto students tried to have the psychology professor fired or censured for his views on transgenderism. It's the best thing that ever happened to him. According to the National Post in June 2017:
He rose to prominence — many would say notoriety — last autumn with his public refusal to use transgender and non-binary students’ pronouns of choice: “xe,” “zir” and “they,” for example (as dictated by new rules from the University administration).
“I don’t know what the options are if you’re not a man or a woman,” he said. “It’s not obvious to me how you can be both because those are by definition binary categories.”
The reaction was what you would expect. His participation in public debates led to violent disruptions by pro-transgender crowds.
Two U of T members of the administration sent Peterson an ominous letter urging him to revise his pronoun stance and suggesting he might unwittingly be responsible for threats against trans students - (a veiled warning of future lawsuits).
Peterson hasn’t stopped repeating the statements. He’s still a professor at U of T. And the efforts to silence or censure him seem to have accomplished little other than boosting his profile, and making him a hero to opponents of political correctness.
When the university cut off money for his research, he resorted to crowd funding and obtained amounts several times larger than his annual salary.

HOW FASCISM WAS REDEFINED AS RIGHT WING after the war, although it was originally socialist and left wing
Big Liar - How Theodor Adorno
redefined Fascism
The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left
Fascism and Nazism are both phenomena of the left. This makes ideological sense, because at their core they represent ideologies of the centralized, all-powerful state.
Moreover, fascism grew out of Marxism, and fascism’s founder Benito Mussolini, was a Marxist and lifelong socialist.
Hitler, too, was a socialist who headed the National Socialist Party, and in fact changed the name of the German Workers Party to make it the National Socialist German Workers Party.
How, then, did progressives in America re-define fascism and Nazism as phenomena of the right? This sleight-of-hand occurred after World War II, once fascism and Nazism were discredited with the reputation of Holocaust. Then progressives recognized it was important to cover up the leftist roots of fascism and Nazism and to move them from the left-wing column into the right-wing column.

Author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza talked about his new book, The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left, with SiriusXM host Raheem Kassam
THE NAZI ROOTS OF THE AMERICAN LEFT - Interview with author Dinesh D'Souza on "THE BIG LIE" and the fascistic nature of the left
Excerpts:
- “Remember, for example, that with the NSA today there are surveillance technologies that were completely unavailable to Mussolini in the 20s or Hitler in the 30s,” he pointed out. “So in a sense, true fascism, full-scale fascism, is more possible today than it was in the twentieth century.”
- “The reason that the left makes the headway that they do is that they’ve actually redefined things ..... A lot of ordinary educated people think right now that fascism equals nationalism. By that definition, Trump would seem to be closer to fascism than, let’s say, Bernie Sanders. But the truth of it is that nationalism is not a key defining feature of fascism at all.”
- “I was born in India. Gandhi was a nationalist. Mandela was a nationalist. All the anti-colonial leaders were nationalists. Churchill was a nationalist. The American Founders were nationalists”
“There’s a deep fascist streak in politics now. Ironically, the fascism of today marches under the banner of anti-fascism, and it claims the moral credibility of anti-fascism,” D’Souza said. “In other words, it tries to take all the odor of fascism – stained as it is with the Holocaust, Auschwitz – and project it onto Trump and on the right.”
“This is a massive historical deception. That’s the Big Lie at its core,” he said. “If the premise is true that fascism has now crept deeply into the bowels of the left, we can’t pretend like that hasn’t happened and continue with politics as usual.”
“The Republicans that I watch on TV think it’s the 1980s,” he complained. “This is Reagan vs. Tip O’Neill. It’s a gentleman’s fight. They can both go out to a bar and have a beer afterwards. That’s not the America we live in now.”
D’Souza saw the election of former President Barack Obama as the tipping point for left-wing fascism.
