Before Jordan's outrage over ISIS murder of a pilot, the Jordanian Parliament held a moment of silence for terrorists who murdered four rabbis praying at a Jerusalem synagogue in November 2014.
In an unprecedented gesture of hostility towards Israel, the Jordanian Parliament on Wednesday opened a cabinet meeting with a moment of silence for the two Palestinian terrorists who slaughtered five Israelis in a Jerusalem synagogue a day earlier
Lower House Speaker, Atef Tarawneh, then went on to recite a prayer in memory of the “martyrs,” Uday and Rassan Abu-Jamal, killed by Israeli police as they shot and hacked to death four rabbis at prayer and a police officer who later succumbed to his wounds.

A more recent show of world double standards was evidenced during the Paris Unity March, which was all about the murder of cartoonists, but not at all about the murder of innocent Jews at a Kosher market, who had never drawn cartoons or done anything to offend the murderers.

over Islamic terrorists
By Edgar Davidson
The brutal burning execution of a Jordanian Muslim pilot by Islamic terrorists is, according to the world media, far worse than the similarly brutal murders that Islamic terrorists carry out on a daily basis in many parts of the world.
Presumably, Muslim lives matter more. They certainly seem to matter a lot more than Jews murdered by Islamic terrorists.

Clearly it is so much worse than the kidnap, torture and burning of Israeli teenagers by Hamas terrorists last year.
Those kids, unlike the Jordanian pilot who was actually bombing the very terrorists who captured him, posed no threat to the terrorists at all.
Yet, while the world hysterically applauds Jordan for both killing Islamist prisoners in revenge and launching a massive bombing attack against ISIS, the same world (including especially Jordan) hysterically condemned Israel first for daring to arrest the Hamas terrorists who had actually killed the teenagers, and then for defending itself against the Hamas terrorists who launched a rocket war to stop the arrests.
And is this the same Jordan which, after the slaughter of Jews in a synagogue in Jerusalem in November, honoured the Islamic terrorists who carried out the attack in the opening session of their Parliament?
And is this the same Jordan which, after the slaughter of Jews in a synagogue in Jerusalem in November, honoured the Islamic terrorists who carried out the attack in the opening session of their Parliament?
Or even the Jordan which not only welcomed the terrorist Ahlam Tamimi behind the Sbarro restaurant massacre (which killed many children in Jerusalem in 2001) but made her into a TV celebrity after her release as part of the Gilad Shalit 'deal'. Here is Tamimi explaining - on Jordanian TV - her thrill at killing so many Jewish children:
Ahlam Tamimi: 16 Zionists were killed [in the suicide bombing you helped carry out]. Interviewer: Was the sound of the explosion...? Ahlam Tamimi: It was very loud. The mujahid Abdallah Barghouti did a perfect job producing the guitar [containing the bomb], and the results amazed everybody, thanks to Allah.
[...]
Afterwards, when I took the bus, the Palestinians around Damascus Gate [in Jerusalem] were all smiling. You could sense that everybody was happy. When I got on the bus, nobody knew that it was me who had led [the suicide bomber to the target]... I was feeling quite strange, because I had left [the bomber] 'Izz Al-Din behind, but inside the bus, they were all congratulating one another. They didn't even know one another, yet they were exchanging greetings.
[...]
While I was sitting on the bus, the driver turned on the radio. But first, let me tell you about the gradual rise in the number of casualties. While I was on the bus and everybody was congratulating one another, they said on the radio that there had been a martyrdom attack at the Sbarro restaurant, and that three people were killed. I admit that I was a bit disappointed, because I had hoped for a larger toll. Yet when they said "three dead," I said: "Allah be praised." Interviewer: Was it an Israeli radio station or a Palestinian one? Ahlam Tamimi: That station was in the Zionist language, and the driver was translating for the passengers.
[...]
Two minutes later, they said on the radio that the number had increased to five. I wanted to hide my smile, but I just couldn't. Allah be praised, it was great. As the number of dead kept increasing, the passengers were applauding. They didn't even know that I was among them.
On the way back [to Ramallah], we passed a Palestinian police checkpoint, and the policemen were laughing. One of them stuck his head in and said: "Congratulations to us all." Everybody was happy. [...]
And if we are talking about hypocrisy how about the pilot's father who (like most of the country) before his death could not stop talking about his hatred for the USA in 'forcing Jordan to attack our Muslim brothers of ISIS - but who after his death wanted earth shattering revenge against ISIS?

WHEN JORDAN WAS OCCUPYING JERUSALEM
Jordan violated several international agreements and standards when it desecrated every holy Jewish site in Jerusalem during their occupation of the city, which ended with Jerusalem's liberation in 1967. Jordan destroyed synagogues, and used Mount of Olives cemetery tombstones as LATRINES and for road construction. |

Jordan's desecration of Jewish sacred sites in Jerusalem during their occupation before 1967
Before the United Nations voted in favor of the Patition Plan on November 29, 1947, the Arab Legion of Jordan (created by the British) attacked Jerusalem. Their forces blocked Jerusalem's roads and cut off the city's access to water.
After bitter fighting, the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City fell to the vastly superior arms and numbers of the Arab Legion. The surviving Jewish inhabitants fled to the "New City," the four-fifths of the capital that Israel successfully held.
- The Old City, including the Jewish Quarter, officially fell to Jordan on May 27, 1948.
- Nearly twenty years later, during the 1967 Six-Day War, Israel's army liberated Jerusalem's Old City, finding the area completely neglected and virtually destroyed.
- All but one of the thirty five synagogues within the Old City were destroyed.
- Those note completely devastated had been used as hen houses and stables filled with dung-heaps, garbage and carcasses.
- The revered Jewish graveyard on the Mount of Olives was in complete disarray with tens of thousands of tombstones broken into pieces to be used as building materials.
- Large areas of the cemetery were leveled to provide a short-cut to a new hotel.

on JORDAN
Summary: The security forces used excessive force and arrested hundreds of peaceful and other demonstrators calling for reform. They maintained tight restrictions on freedoms of expression, association and assembly, and imposed new restrictions on electronic media.
There were reports of torture and other ill-treatment of detainees. Unfair trials continued before the State Security Court (SSC). Hundreds, possibly thousands, of criminal suspects were detained indefinitely without charge or trial.
Women faced discrimination and violence; at least ten were reported to be victims of “honour” killings. Migrant domestic workers were exploited and abused. There were reports that some refugees were forcibly returned to Syria. At least 16 people were sentenced to death; there were no executions.
