BEAUTIFUL CLOSE-UP PICTURES OF INSECTS AT WORK

A series of amazing images show intricate details of hungry bees and tiny insects hovering above colourful flowers.

The insects were brought to life in extraordinary detail showing a carpenter bee, fruit fly and dragonfly in mid-air approaching pollen-rich flower buds in search of food in Indonesia.

In one picture a couple of bees hover above a flower and appear to stare into each others' eyes as they attempt to share the space on the flower.

Each image was captured by photographer Yudy Sauw, 33, who stood just a couple of feet off the ground to catch a glimpse of the fascinating scenes in Banten, Indonesia
