The Red Cross was aware of Nazi crimes at the many concentration camps, but chose to say nothing and to go along with the Nazi deception.  This was 1944 and the rounding up and killing of Jews had started years earlier.  It was no secret.  After the visit, these children, along with other prisoners, were sent to the gas chambers at Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Red Cross admits it 'Lost its Moral Compass' during the Holocaust

By Arutz Sheva staff

ICRC head admits Red Cross failed to protect Jews, preferring to remain willfully blind to the horrors of Nazism.

The President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has admitted the humanitarian agency failed to protect Jews during the holocaust because it "lost its moral compass."

At a joint event in Geneva with the World Jewish Congress to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Allied liberation of Nazi death camps, ICRC President Peter Maurer stated that "the ICRC failed to protect civilians and, most notably, the Jews persecuted and murdered by the Nazi regime."

"It failed as a humanitarian organization because it lost its moral compass," he added.

The conference "Remembering the Shoah: The ICRC and the International Community's Efforts in Responding to Genocide and Protecting Civilians" focused on the ways in which legal and political responses to mass killings have developed since the Holocaust.

It was attended by 200 senior members of Geneva’s diplomatic corps and also featured a panel discussion with Dorot Professor of Modern Jewish History and Holocaust Studies at Emory University Deborah Lipstadt and former International President of Médecins Sans Frontières James Orbinski.

Echoing Maurer's statement, WJC President Ronald S. Lauder said the Red Cross willfully ignored the Nazi genocide of Jews and other minority groups.

"World silence and indifference to the fate of the Jewish people led to the Holocaust. The Red Cross chose silence as well," he said.

"In the face of a human catastrophe, silence is not a moral alternative. As one of the most respected international organizations in the world, the ICRC has an important obligation that goes beyond relief work," Lauder continued. "Today, this is more important than ever because of what we see throughout the Middle East, Africa, and even right here in Europe."

During World War II, the ICRC, headquartered in Geneva, was the principal humanitarian institution maintaining communications with both the Allied and Axis powers.

But while the ICRC did provide assistance and protection to Allied prisoners of war held by Nazi Germany, it did not do the same for Jewish deportees as Berlin refused all humanitarian requests to help Jewish victims.

At the same time, the ICRC refused to even publicly denounce the deportation of Jews to concentration camps.

In his address, Maurer admitted the Red Cross allowed itself to remain willfully blind to the horrors unfolding before it.

"The ICRC did not see Nazi Germany for what it was. Instead, the organization maintained the illusion that the Third Reich was a ‘regular partner’, a state that occasionally violates laws, not unlike any army during World War I, occasionally using illegal means and methods of warfare."  But, he insisted, it had learned from its past mistakes.

"We have chosen to confront our past and to embrace transparency. Our public archives are proof of our acknowledgment of the past and our continued effort to confront uncomfortable truths," he declared.

Maurer struck a far more pessimistic note however when it came to the more contemporary challenges facing his organization.

"For the ICRC, somehow, ‘never again’ resonates with difficulty because of what we see and experience on the ground every day," he said.

"We cannot guarantee that a humanitarian catastrophe of the extent of the Holocaust will not happen again. On the contrary, we witness a catalogue of atrocities, every day, in wars across the globe."

In his speech, Lauder commended the Red Cross for admitting and taking responsibility for its past failings, and urged the Red Cross to apply the lessons it learned to current and future challenged.

Simply providing apolitical medical and relief work is not enough, the WJC President insisted, calling on the ICRC to lead the charge in fighting the kinds of evil ideologies - from Nazism to radical Islam - which make atrocities such as the holocaust possible.

"I believe the International Red Cross has an important obligation that goes beyond relief work," he said. "The ICRC is one of the most respected international organizations in the world and as such, its opinion carries great weight."

"You have already proven your moral authority because you have opened up your historical records. You have admitted that you could have and should have done more."

The world is "in desperate need of leadership in the ongoing debate between right and wrong," he continued, "and that is exactly what this is: a struggle between good and evil."

"There is no ambiguity when marauding armies kill everything in their path, beheading men, women and even children. This could not be clearer, just as it was clear 70 years ago when the concentration camps were liberated.

"The world today faces its greatest challenge since the end of World War II. Nothing could be more important in 2015. The International Committee of the Red Cross must show the world the way."

The Red Cross War against the Jews

By Giulio Meotti - December 10, 2011
Italian journalist with Il Foglio, and author of the book "A New Shoah",
that researched the personal stories of Israel's terror victims,
and of "J'Accuse: the Vatican Against Israel".His writing has appeared
in the Wall Street Journal, Frontpage and Commentary.

It's the world’s foremost humanitarian agency and it won the Nobel Peace Prize for its service to victims of warfare and natural disasters, but Red Cross’ relation to Jews is nothing to be proud of.

First the Red Cross boycotted the Magen David Adom for half a century, while it granted full membership to "benefactors of humanity" such as North Korea, Afghanistan and Iraq.

Now Israel has surrendered to the demands of the Palestine Red Crescent. As a condition to Magen David Adom joining the International Red Cross in 2006, the Israeli branch agreed to remove its trademark red Star of David from ambulances in Judea and Samaria.

The same happened in 1991 during Desert Storm, when US soldiers in Saudi Arabia had to keep their own personal Star of David hidden beneath their uniforms.

A "Memorandum of Understanding between Magen David Adom in Israel and Palestine Red Crescent Society”, obtained by Arutz Sheva, includes having Israel called an “occupier”.

The Red Cross is waging a “soft war” against Israel and the Jews. In 2001 Rene Kosirnik, head of the International Red Cross’s delegation to Israel, called the Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria a “war crime”.

The organization is serving as a mouthpiece for Palestinian propaganda against Israel on a variety of issues, including Israel’s security barrier aimed at preventing suicide attacks - and the blood libel of the 2002 battle in the Jenin refugee camp that the Red Cross described as a “massacre”.

Independent investigators subsequently found that no massacre was committed, rather 11 Israeli soldiers died in house to house fighting with terrorists because the IDF refrained from having the area strafed - this to avoid civilian casualties despite having warned residents to leave.

A case in point is how the Red Cross allocates budgets worldwide.

For all of North Africa, the Red Cross has one office in Tunis.

For “Israel/Occupied Territories/Autonomous Territories,” the Red Cross has offices in Jenin, Tulkarm, Nablus, Kalkilya, Ramallah, Jericho, Bethlehem, Hebron, Gaza, Khan Yunis, Majdel Shams, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv.

During the Second Intifada, Red Crescent ambulances commonly served as “Trojan horses” to transport terrorists and weaponry through the "West Bank" and Gaza, although Article 44 of the First Geneva Convention for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded and Sick in Armed Forces in the Field (1949) clearly states, “… the emblem of the Red Cross on a white ground … may not be employed, either in time of peace or in time of war, except to indicate or to protect the medical units and establishments…”.

Last year (2010)  the east Jerusalem office of the Red Cross became the de facto headquarters of Hamas terrorists.

Red Cross officials were all over the Gaza war in 2009, describing it as a “humanitarian nightmare”.

But where were they when tens of thousands of Israeli families could not sleep for fear of a rocket attack? Where were their trauma experts to decry that humanitarian crisis?

In the more than five years that Gilad Shalit was held prisoner in Gaza, the Red Cross filed one request to see him.

It's a moral failure which goes back to the Holocaust. The Red Cross knew about the Nazi massacres of Jews on the Eastern Front during World War II as early as 1941.

A booklet published by the Red Cross in 1947 argued that “aid to the Jews, like that to the civilian deportees, rested on no juridical basis” in international law, in contrast to aid to prisoners of war. Therefore the Red Cross did not have “the shadow of a pretext to intervene” for the Jews during the war.

Rather than alerting the world, the Red Cross lied to international public opinion.

After the war, the Red Cross was a major conduit for Nazis to escape Europe, including Adolf Eichmann. The Red Cross provided passports, for example, to the commandants of Treblinka and Sobibor concentration camps, and enabled Alois Brunner, Eichmann’s assistant, to escape to Damascus.

During the war, the Red Cross failed miserably to help Jewish inmates of concentration camps. The Red Cross was reluctant to investigate gas chambers, massacres, brutality and human-rights abuses. When it did visit some of the camps, its reports whitewashed Nazi atrocities.

Amidst a carefully created mirage, three foreign observers -- two from the Red Cross -- toured the ghastly Czech ghetto of Theresienstadt and left with the impression that the Jews there were “happy”, “healthy” and not headed for Hitler’s extermination camps.

To stage this cynical theatre, thousands of the elderly, sick and starving were transported to Auschwitz beforehand, phoney restaurants were created and children attended classes at non-existent schools. Jewish composers such as Rafael Schaechter, Hans Krasa, Viktor Ullmann, Pavel Hass and Gideon Klein played during the Red Cross’ visit.

SS commandant Karl Rahm, who was executed in 1947 for crimes against humanity, distributed sardines to children just as the Red Cross’ observers passed.

The Red Cross, the only outsiders allowed into Nazi concentration camps, filed reports that found nothing “out of the ordinary”.

Questioned for having denied entry to the organization to the Jewish state for half a century, in 1996 then head of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Cornelio Sommaruga, answered: “If we’re going to have the Star of David, why would we not have to accept the Swastika?”.

From Theresienstadt to Samaria, the Red Cross' project is ghettoizing the Jews, as happened in Lodz, Poland, where the Jewish fighters produced a rare coin which featured a Star of David. It was the first ghetto created in Nazi-occupied Poland and the last to be liquidated. Only Litzmannstadt’s Jews issued coins. One side of the 10 Mark coin shown depicts a Star of David with the word “Ghetto” imposed over it and the year: 1943.

But Israel won. At that time, the six-pointed star was the symbol of death for millions. Now it’s a symbol of life.

When the Red Cross (IRC) feels it must apologize for telling the truth

It’s not hard to find examples of double standards against Israel; COMMENTARY has published two examples, from academia and sport, just in the last two days. But it’s worth reiterating that such incidents are made possible not by the rabid Israel-haters, who remain a small minority, but by all the “good” people who know better yet are too intimidated to speak out.

Nowhere is this more evident than in the so-called human rights community. And Exhibit A is the exception that proves the rule: Jacques de Maio, who heads the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation in “Israel and the Occupied Territories.”

The ICRC has produced its share of Israel-haters, but De Maio certainly isn’t one of them. Not only does he realize that Israel isn’t the Great Satan it’s generally portrayed as by “human rights” activists, but he’s even willing to say so occasionally – which makes him far braver than many of his colleagues.

Yet even this braver-than-average member of the human rights community feels so intimidated that whenever he does say something positive about Israel, he feels the need to apologize.

So you get astounding statements like this tweet from last November: “It may seem provocative, but I would contend that humanitarian access in Israel & OT is, comparatively, outstandingly good.”

The mind simply boggles. It’s “provocative” to state the simple fact that Israel, like any Western democracy, allows humanitarian aid groups relatively unfettered access?

In his next tweet, De Maio added, “I can think of no other context where we operate worldwide where access for humanitarian organizations is as good as it is here.”

Yet if that’s the truth, why should it be “provocative” to say so? Shouldn’t it be as natural for human rights organizations to praise countries for enabling their access as it is to criticize them for not doing so?  But of course, when it comes to Israel, it isn’t.

After all, in the “human rights” community to which De Maio belongs, the loudest voices are people like Human Rights Watch director Ken Roth, who famously criticized Israel last month for sending the world’s largest medical team, 30 percent of all foreign medical personnel, to help victims of Nepal’s earthquake.

In a world where “human rights activists” slam Israel even for providing humanitarian relief – though Roth has yet to explain how he thinks the world would be a better place had Israel failed to do so – it’s clearly not a given to praise it for enabling humanitarian access.

So De Maio apologizes for telling the truth. And untold numbers of his less courageous colleagues choose the easier route of not telling it at all.

Nor is it Israel alone that pays the price for their silence – something else De Maio understands quite well. “Why is there so much more focus on Israel than on Syria [and] other places where many more civilians are dying?” he demanded in December.

“In other ongoing wars, more civilians die in one week than in Israeli wars in a full year.” Yet even the braver-than-average De Maio made that statement at a conference in Israel, the one place it’s relatively “safe” to say such things. And untold numbers of his less courageous colleagues will never say it at all.

So all the people worldwide who truly need humanitarian assistance – in Syria and “other places where many more civilians are dying” – will continue having their pleas for help go unheard, because the only “human rights” activists raising their voices are the ones obsessed with Israel. The others are too busy proving, yet again, that all that’s needed for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.

August 2014 - Israel Is Not Committing War Crimes in Gaza

Int'l Law Group Responds to Red Cross Accusations

The European Centre for Law and Justice has hit back against the International Red Cross for insinuating that Israel is committing war crimes in Gaza, arguing that it is the terrorist tactics of Palestinian militant group Hamas that are in clear violation of international law.

"It is deeply disturbing that the International Red Cross, which should be an objective relief organization, is engaging in an unbalanced and biased campaign to smear Israel," wrote Jay Sekulow, who serves as Chief Counsel of the ECLJ as well as the American Center for Law and Justice.

While insinuating that Israel is committing war crimes as it protects its civilian population under attack by Hamas terrorists, the Red Cross is turning a blind eye to the deadly terrorist tactics used by Hamas – using its own population as human shields – in clearly violation of international law. We are urging the Red Cross to rely on the facts and the truth in reporting what is taking place in the Gaza conflict.

Sekulow further argued that Israel needs to be "commended" for its efforts and accused Hamas of intentionally attacking Israeli civilians and using people as human shields.

The ECLJ is urging the Red Cross to be balanced in its comments and “strongly and consistently address the unlawful actions taken by Hamas militants in firing its rockets indiscriminately, in using civilians as human shields, and in turning otherwise protected civilian sites into military targets, all in clear violation of the IHL (International Humanitarian Law).”

The statement is accompanied by a detailed 13-page letter, which outlines a number of instances where the IRC has criticized Israel for the destruction of shelters and schools in Gaza that have led to civilian deaths, but fails to mention the role of Hamas in attacking Israeli soldiers and civilians.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has hit back against such accusations, however, and accused Hamas of committing "double war crimes."
"Hamas is committing a double war crime. It is both targeting civilians and hiding behind civilians, including U.N. facilities, which are not only rocket storage sites but rocket launching sites and mortar launching sites."

Red Cross and the Vatican
'helped thousands of Nazis escape'

The UK Telegraph - A new book has revealed how the Red Cross and the Vatican helped thousands of Nazis including men like Adolf Eichmann and Josef Mengele to escape justice after the war.

In his book "Nazis On The Run: How Hitler's Henchmen Fled Europe" Gerald Steinacher, a research fellow from Harvard University, sheds light on just how thousands of Nazis managed to evade detection and start a new life.

Steinacher based much of his book on unpublished documents held by the Red Cross that revealed a system struggling to cope with the millions of displaced people in post-war Europe, and one that could be exploited by fleeing Nazis.

The historian estimates the some 8,000 SS men managed to escape to Britain and Canada alone using documents issued to them by the Red Cross by mistake.

But most fleeing war criminals either headed to Franco's Spain or South America.

While the Red Cross provided inadvertent help, the Vatican, the book claims, may have provided more considered help for Nazis desperate to avoid prison or the gallows. Owing to a desire to revive a Christian Europe or out of a morbid fear of the Soviet Union, the Vatican, through its refugee commission, said Mr Steinacher, provided leading war criminals with false identity papers.

The Red Cross also depended upon Vatican references where issuing travel documents.

The Vatican has always refused to comment on its wartime activities and has kept its archive closed to the public.

The Red Cross' blurry and secretive finances

The following three articles are part of a series by NPR in 2014:

Red Cross misstates how donated dollars are spent  -  Documents are secret.
In the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, a former Red Cross official says, as many as 40 percent of the organization's emergency vehicles were assigned for public relations purposes. This photo, which shows one of the trucks in Long Island, N.Y., in January 2013, is one example of the many publicity photos taken by the Red Cross.
  • In this case, the problem with the number stems from its own tax documents.
  • In recent years, fundraising expenses have been as high as 26 percent compared with what people donated.
  • That doesn't even include management and overhead. Instead of 91 percent of people's money going to services, the real number could be in the 70s, or lower.
  • There's no way to know precisely because the Red Cross officials would not say what the new number is and would not provide a breakdown of the charity's expenses.
  • While the Red Cross is known for disaster services, its main business is actually collecting and selling blood. Last year, the charity took in $2 billion from the blood operation.

Red Cross 'Diverted Assets' During Storms' Aftermath To Focus On Image
Multiple internal documents obtained by NPR and ProPublica along with interviews with top Red Cross officials reveal an organization that struggled to meet the basic needs of victims in the first weeks after the storm. The documents and interviews also depict an organization so consumed with public relations that it hindered the charity's ability to provide disaster services.

Just 39 percent of employees trust the senior leadership of the organization. And 4 out of 10 employees have doubts about the charity's commitment to ethical conduct.
NPR and ProPublica's investigation centered on top current and former Red Cross officials and the charity's own documents that revealed an organization so consumed with appearances that in one case it sent empty trucks to drive around to make it appear that disaster relief was being delivered, according to interviews with top officials and truck drivers.

  A Look Back At Canada’s
Tainted Blood Scandal

  • In the early 1980s, about 2,000 Canadians were infected with HIV from tainted blood products.
  • Many thousand more, perhaps as many as 30,000, were infected with hepatitis C.
  • And so 20 years ago today, the Privy Council issued an order calling for the creation of a Royal Commission of Inquiry on the Blood System in Canada —  better known as the Krever Inquiry.
  • Although AIDS was first reported in Canada on March 27, 1982, it took three years for the Canadian Red Cross Society, which administered the nation's blood donation system, to start screening for HIV.

But as Justice Horace Krever detailed in his 1,200-plus page report, the blame for what he called a "nationwide public health calamity" didn't simply lie with one institution reacting too slowly to a deadly emerging disease. He found that there was plenty of blame to go around.

In the wake of the report, the Red Cross was stripped of its control over the blood program, and a new federal agency, Canadian Blood Services, was established to operate at arms length from the government (except in Quebec, where Héma-Québec was established). In 2001, the Supreme Court ruled that the Red Cross was negligent in the early days of the AIDS crisis, especially in comparison with how authorities in the U.S. dealt with the emerging disease.

The federal government was quick to offer compensation to Canadians infected with HIV (the first package was offered in 1989), although it took many years and several legal battles before all Canadians infected with hepatitis C received compensation. The total payout from governments, the Red Cross and insurance companies was in the billions of dollars.

2013 - Blood for sale in Canada

  • Two decades ago, 30,000 Canadians, recipients of blood and plasma products, were infected with HIV and hepatitis C.
  • Some of the tainted blood was purchased from “blood brokers” whose supplies came from Arkansas prisons, L.A.’s “skid row” and Russian funeral homes.
  • Confronted with a blood shortage and weighing the odds, Health Canada and the Canadian Red Cross, then stewards of Canada’s blood system, accepted it anyway.
  • In the next few weeks the federal government is preparing for an announcement to approve a privately owned plasma clinic that will pay donors $20 to take their blood and sell it at a profit on the open international market.
  • The location of this Toronto clinic is being proposed next to a homeless shelter
  • It will be the homeless, the economically challenged and students who will find the $20 fee an attractive incentive upon which to base the decision on whether or not to donate blood

Although the following article is from 2002, it helps to understand the Red Cross' relentless anti-Semitic behavior.  From their covering up Nazi crimes at the concentration crimes, to today's open aiding Arab terrorists that kill Jews.  Their animosity against their equivalent organization in Israel is still ongoing.

Red Cross Double Crosses Jews

DOUBLE CROSS
RED CROSS FOR JEWS

By Arlene Peck

Several years ago, I wrote a column in which I outlined various facts showing the Red Cross to clearly be an anti-Semitic organization. I wrote about their discriminatory policies against Israel. At the time, few people took me seriously.

My eyes were opened when I traveled to Prague and visited the concentration camps. It was then and there that I realized only someone that hated Jews could look at that slice of Hell and report back the world at large, "The Jews really aren't being treated so badly."

The Nazis used one of their camps near Prague as a "show" camp. A movie was even made about it several year ago. I traveled to it. Theresienstadt was its name. They had Jewish prisoners who were musicians, painters, actors, etc.

Whenever the IRC announced that they were coming to visit, the prisoners were forced to spruce up the camp! By the time the pre-announced inspectors arrived all torture instruments would be hidden, the pool would be open and nice meals were being served.

The Jews were then forced to perform concerts, put on plays and have displays of art for the geniuses from the IRC. Allegedly no one knew about most of the killing camps located in Poland. The "inspectors" were too busy being entertained to bother looking for them.

It was a shock to realize that this international "humanitarian organization" had intentionally reported erroneously about the true conditions. Rather than alerting the world about the serious plight of these brave and desperate people during the Holocaust, they lied.

The result? It's hard give an exact number, but it's safe to say many thousands of Jews (and other undesirables) died at the hands of the Nazi butchers that might have otherwise been saved. If only the world had known and the Red Cross reported the truth. Think they were duped? I don't think so.

Given the number of people out there in the media apologizing for this or that centuries-old grievance against virtually every ethnic group in existence, you'd think that the Red Cross would jump on the bandwagon and try to make amends. Really? Think again. It was no surprise to me when I discovered additional evidence showing how this "humanitarian organization has always been and continues to be overtly hostile to Israel.

Since 1948, they have quietly, but firmly refused to accept Israel's equivalent of the Red Cross - which is called "Mogen David Adom" - into its membership. I've already heard the arguments: "You shouldn't expect a group using a Christian symbol to accept a non-Christian symbol like the Star of David. They aren't picking on the Jews. They only want to use their own symbol." Really? Guess again.

This conspiracy of silence welcomes the Arab nations! While the Jewish star symbol is forbidden, the Red Cross is happy to bend over backwards to accommodate and include the Arab nations into its organization. They have officially pandered to the Arabs and accepted the Red Crescent.

The crescent, of course, is a symbol derived from Islam. When confronted about this shameful practice, they repeat, "Well, that's not our fault. It's the fault of the International Red Cross." Tell me. Does this sound a lot like when the Nazis on trial kept saying, "We didn't do anything wrong. We were just following orders." Orders to do what? To make certain the Star of David is the only humanitarian emblem that has ever been formally rejected by the Red Cross?!?!

For more decades than the public wants to accept, the International Red Cross has deliberately discriminated against Jews. From lying about the conditions in the concentration camps to refusing to accept the symbol of the Jewish state as a legitimate emblem of Israeli's equivalent of the Red Cross, they have been blatantly discriminatory; And from the very beginning, nothing has been done to stop them. So, why would I expect anything different from them today?

Recently, the International Committee of the Red Cross allocated only $300,000 for MDA's lifesaving efforts, but gave $30 million for the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. To add insult to injury, the lied to the world by making it appear as though the funds were divided equally. As usual, Israel came out on the short end of that stick.

Even Canada, who until recently, I've always considered one of the more friendly and rational nations has behaved with a decidedly anti-U.S. and anti-Semitic slant. I was shocked to find that they have made every effort to close down the Mogen David office and strip it of it's non-profit status. Why all this deception and discrimination?

The American Jewish Committee answered some of my questions a few years ago by saying, "The American Red Cross, to its credit, has pledged to right this wrong." From all I can gather, nothing has changed. It is my belief that The International Committee of the Red Cross, the Federation of Red Cross and the Red Crescent Society have no plans to ever change their disgusting policy. If the time ever comes when the Mogen David Adom is allowed into this world-wide organization, it will only be because they have been absolutely forced to so.

The one thing that still amazes me is how - after fifty years - this policy is still allowed to continue unchallenged. If some ritzy American country club receiving the public benefits enjoyed by the Red Cross refused to allow a particular group to get a membership, the networks would cover their fairways with camera crews.

Civil rights groups screaming "discrimination" would parachute lawyers onto the greens. But in this same America, the general public is not even made aware of the true character of this unrepentant anti-Semitic organization. Instead the general public is pressured to give and give and give.

I have done a few things to balance the scales a tiny bit. My daughter (Dana) used to donate her platelets to the Red Cross every month. I think it 's wonderful that they are used to save lives. But I felt that if the Jewish symbol was not good enough for the Red Cross, then my child's Jewish platelets were best used by another organization.

I laid a bit of grief on her about it. She indulged her mother and now donates her AB negative platelets to a terrific Jewish hospital. At Cedars Sinai they also use platelets to save lives every day; And - unlike the Red Cross - they've found a way to do this without discriminating against anyone. Amazing!

Recently, I had as a guest on my television show, terrorist expert, Shimon Erems. I brought this topic up to him and Mr. Erems wholeheartedly agreed with me in my assessment of the Red Cross. He thought one answer was to have a group of Holocaust survivors approach every single country in Europe.

"These people should contact the leaders of these countries and approach them with the question, "How can you support the International Red Cross and their discriminatory policy?" Who knows? Maybe he's right. They could mobilize local support in each of these countries by getting the intelligentsias, and the young on their side. Their slogan could be:
"Stop the Swiss Nazi's from running the International Red Cross!"

March 2015:

Red Cross cooperates with terrorist Hamas-affiliated university in Gaza with a weapons lab

The faculty of Sharia (Islamic law) at the Hamas-affiliated Islamic University in Gaza is preparing to hold an international conference in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross on the subject of international humanitarian law in light of Islamic Sharia.

The conference is scheduled to take place on October 13 and 14 this year, according to a joint ad of the Red Cross and the Islamic University, which appeared in the Hamas-affiliated Palestine newspaper on Sunday.

According to the ad, the first session of the conference will deal with humanitarian issues. The second session will discuss the basic principles in the management of armed conflicts, the third session will deal with victims’ rights and measures for their protection during armed conflict, and the fourth session will deal with guarantees for the implementation of the principles of the management of armed conflict and modern challenges.

All the sessions will examine these issues according to Sharia law and international humanitarian law, the ad states.

The cooperation with the Red Cross is puzzling given that the Islamic University is considered a stronghold of Hamas and, according to Israeli intelligence, Hamas uses it to develop its rocket arsenal.

In January of 2009, the Israeli Air Force attacked a target at the Islamic University which served as a laboratory for developing weapons.
