Israel is a multiracial country, where Jews, Arabs, Christians of many ethnic backgrounds, and other minorities with Israeli citizenship have equal rights under the law. 

Jews come in all colors.  There are Ethiopian Jews, Indian Jews, Chinese Jews, and Jews whose roots have been 100% Middle Eastern for thousands of years, and whose ancestors never left Israel or surrounding lands. 

Arab countries, however, discriminate against non-Muslims.  Some Arab countries are notorious for their practice of owning African slaves.
