After closing his meeting with American Muslim leaders to the press and even keeping the guest list secret, the president has finally revealed it.

Details interspersed below: “Obama quietly hands out names of Muslim leaders he met with privately,” by Dave Boyer, The Washington Times, February 6, 2015:
The White House has finally divulged the names of American Muslim leaders who met with President Obama this week, including Imam Mohamed Magid, who has advised the administration on formulating responses to incidents that Islamists consider offensive.
After stonewalling journalists for two days about the names of the participants at the meeting Wednesday, the White House quietly attached the list of attendees to the end of its daily press briefing transcript Thursday evening.
The guest list identified Imam Magid as a representative of the Adams Center, a large mosque in Sterling, Virginia. He has also served as president of the Islamic Society of North America, according to the group’s website.

Former FBI agent John Guandolo reported this in 2012: “The ADAMS Center is a Muslim Brotherhood front organization.  It was founded by some of the most senior Muslim Brothers in the United States, to include Ahmed Totanji, who still resides in Herndon, Virginia.

Its website proclaims ‘[ADAMS] is a membership organization registered in the State of Virginia as a non-profit, tax exempt corporation and is affiliated with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA).’ Imam Magid is the Executive Director of the ADAMS Center.

He is also the President of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the largest Muslim Brotherhood organization in the U.S. which was found to be a financial support entity for Hamas in the largest terrorism financing and Hamas trial in U.S. history (US v Holy Land Foundation, Dallas, 2008).”
Imam Magid, a native of Sudan, has served on the Department of Homeland Security’s Countering Violent Extremism Working Group and has worked as an adviser to the White House National Security Council to formulate U.S. responses to appeal to moderate Muslims in the battle against Islamist extremists.
As is clear from its name, the Countering Violent Extremism Working Group is dedicated to denying and obfuscating the Islamic character of Islamic terrorism.
It was Mr. Obama’s first meeting with American Muslim leaders at the White House, coming at a time of renewed discussion about the threat of radicalization of Muslims in the West. The hour-long talk focused on civil rights, anti-Muslim bias, and extremism, according to participants.
The other attendees were Bilqis “Qisi” Abdul-Qaadir, director of women’s basketball operations at Indiana State University; Arshia Wajid, founder of American Muslim Health Professionals; comedian Dean Obeidallah;
The painfully unfunny “comedian” Dean Obeidallah is an energetic front man for the Islamic supremacist agenda of intimidating people into thinking it is “bigoted” to oppose jihad terror.

He has spoken at events for the Hamas-linked terror organization the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and has made a “documentary” about “Islamophobia,” a word used to smear foes of jihad — see my questions to him here that he refused to answer.
Kameelah Rashad, founder of Muslim Wellness Foundation and Muslim chaplain at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia;
Kameelah Rashad was one of the proponents of the initiative to force the NYPD to scrap its surveillance of Muslim groups, even though that surveillance was legal and defended even by the hopeless dhimmi Mayor Bloomberg.
Diego Arancibia, board member and associate director of the Ta’leef Collective; Farhan Latif, chief operating officer and director of policy impact at the Institute of Policy and Understanding; Sherman Jackson, professor of religion and American Studies and Ethnicity at the University of Southern California; Azhar Azeez, president of the Islamic Society of North America;
As noted above, the Islamic Society of North America was named an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case, and has admitted ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.
Farhana Khera, president of Muslim Advocates;
Farhana Khera! On October 19, 2011, Farhana Khera wrote a letter to Barack Obama’s then-Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism and current CIA director John Brennan. It was signed by 57 organizations, including many with ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, such as Hamas-linked CAIR, Hamas-linked ISNA; the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA); Islamic Relief USA; the Muslim Brotherhood’s Muslim American Society (MAS); and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC).

The letter denounced U.S. government agencies “use of biased, false and highly offensive training materials about Muslims and Islam.”

Muslim demands
Ignoring the factual accuracy of the material about which they were complaining, the Muslim groups signing the letter demanded that the task force “purge all federal government training materials of biased materials”; “implement a mandatory re-training program for FBI agents, U.S. Army officers, and all federal, state and local law enforcement who have been subjected to biased training”; and more to ensure that only the message about Islam and jihad preferred by the signatories would get through to intelligence and law enforcement agents. (The letter, incidentally, named me specifically and demanded that I no longer train FBI agents.)

Brennan immediately complied with all the demands, thus forbidding intelligence and law enforcements to understand the motives and goals of the jihadists.
Rahat Hussain, president of the Universal Muslim Association of America; Hoda Hawa, national policy adviser of the Muslim Public Affairs Council;
MPAC is widely regarded as a “moderate” Muslim organization, and has even sponsored a “National Anti-Terrorism Campaign” ostensibly dedicated to helping Muslims help law enforcement officials root jihad terrorists and their sympathizers out of Muslim communities in the U.S.

Or at least that’s what the mainstream media assumed that the campaign was dedicated to doing; in reality, however, it was much less concerned with identifying jihadists within American Muslim communities than with shielding Muslims from uncomfortable attention from law enforcement.

Also, MPAC’s Edina Lekovic was caught lying on national television by Steve Emerson, denying she was editor of a Muslim student publication that praised Osama bin Laden as a great mujahid. Emerson produced copies of the rag showing Lekovic’s name on the masthead as editor on the very same page on which the praise for Osama appeared.
Maya Berry, executive director of the Arab American Institute and Haroon Mokhtarzada, CEO of Webs.
Also at the meeting were Mr. Obama’s senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, National Security Adviser Susan E. Rice and Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes.
The White House said Mr. Obama “reiterated his administration’s commitment to safeguarding civil rights through hate crimes prosecutions and civil enforcement actions” during the meeting, and also discussed countering the Islamic State “and other groups that commit horrific acts of violence, purportedly in the name of Islam.”
The president urged Muslim Americans “to remain civically engaged in their communities,” the White House said.
The Justice Department named ISNA in a court document as an unindicted co-conspirator with other “entities who are and/or were members of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood” during prosecution of a terrorist financing case in 2007 against the Holy Land Foundation, once the largest Muslim charity in the U.S.
A federal judge later ruled that the document should not have been revealed to the public. The ISNA has said that its inclusion in the charitable foundation’s list of unindicted co-conspirators amounted to guilt by association.

The US President attends Prayer Breakfast with Sudanese official
Sudan stands accused of genocide

 BY:

Human rights activists are assailing the Obama administration for the president’s appearance at the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday with the foreign minister of Sudan, a country whose government is accused of genocide.

Activists also say the presence of the foreign minister, Ali Ahmed Karti, at the breakfast as well as reports of meetings with administration officials could signal that Washington is considering normalizing relations with Sudan.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) indicted President Omar al-Bashir of Sudan in 2009 for war crimes and genocide in the southern region of Darfur, where the United Nations says government forces have killed as many as 300,000 people in non-Arab rebel tribes.

The National Prayer Breakfast is organized by the Fellowship Foundation on behalf of U.S. lawmakers, and is traditionally attended by the president. Sudanese and American activists promoted an online petition against Karti’s invitation and protested Thursday morning outside of the breakfast at the Washington Hilton.

Ibrahim Ghandour, a Sudanese presidential assistant, is also in Washington this week for meetings with State Department officials and the U.S. special envoy to Sudan, according to reports in the Sudanese media.

An official in the State Department confirmed that Ghandour will meet with the administration next week. “He will meet with U.S. government officials,” the official said in an email. “The visit provides an opportunity to discuss a broad range of issues of concern to both parties.”

“Separately, the directors of the National Prayer breakfast invited Foreign Minister Karti to attend their event, taking place today. To our knowledge, he is not meeting with any administrative officials. All questions concerning Foreign Minister Karti’s participation should be directed to the organizers of this event.”

Sudan remains a U.S. designated sponsor of terrorism subject to stringent sanctions.

According to a participant in the protest outside the breakfast, the activists included Hawa Abdallah Mohammed Salih—a Darfuri who spent years in an internally displaced persons camp before she was forced to flee Sudan and government persecution in 2011.

She received the U.S. Secretary of State’s International Women of Courage Award in 2012 in the presence of then-Secretary Hillary Clinton and First Lady Michelle Obama.

“Ali Karti to ICC,” Hawa shouted with other activists outside of the Hilton in the cold air. “Barack Obama, keep your promise. Stop violence against women in Sudan. Stop the raping of women in Darfur. Stop the raping of women in Blue Nile. Mr. President keep your promise.”

Karti is the former head of the Popular Defense Force, an organization of militias that has been accused of systematically killing the Nuba minority group in the 1990s in South Kordofan.

He more recently pressured the U.N. Security Council to drop the ICC investigation of war crimes committed by Bashir. The court decided to postpone the Darfur investigation in December due to a lack of support from the Security Council, particularly China.

Violence continues to rage in Sudan. A recent Security Council report said that armed attacks by the government’s Rapid Support Forces “threatened to produce levels of violence, chaos, and confusion not seen in Darfur since 2004.”

Despite the ongoing violence and investigation by the ICC, Donald Booth, the U.S. special envoy to Sudan, has expressed a willingness to restart talks with Bashir’s regime.

“We must together chart a course forward,” Booth said in October. “To this end, I reiterate my readiness, and that of my government, to engage the Sudanese in a more frank and frequent exchange, to visit Khartoum, and to discuss the full range of issues that frame our bilateral relationship.”

The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

The Obama administration has come under withering criticism from some activists and lawmakers for their diplomatic outreach to other authoritarian governments in Cuba and Iran.

As you may remember, Sudan was the country that incarcerated and condemned to death a pregnant woman physician for marrying a Christian.  She gave birth in chains.
