PEOPLE QUESTION WHAT DID PRESIDENT OBAMA EXACTLY MEAN WHEN HE CALLED FOR INTERNAL PRESSURE ON THE ISRAELI PRIME MINISTER TO MAKE DEAL TO PARTITION ISRAEL

Particularly considering the US government penchant for influencing regime change in the Middle East.

Note:  The word "PEACE" in the Israeli-Arab context is a euphemism for partition.

The fact is that the Land for Peace formula has never worked.

Israel gave up the Sinai and now it is overrun with Jihadis.  Egypt has called for the "revision" of their Peace Treaty with Israel.  They have the land. They can do whatever they want.

Israel gave up Gaza, and it is now a platform for a terror war against Israeli civilians.

Times of Israel:  Obama: Netanyahu too strong, Abbas too weak for peace.  US president worries popular backing for Israel’s PM and lack of it for PA chief hinder the possibility of bold political moves

Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is too strong, and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas too weak, for the two leaders to fully cooperate and make the concessions needed in order to achieve a long lasting peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, US President Barack Obama asserted.

Speaking during an interview with the New York Times’ Thomas L. Friedman, Obama said he believed Netanyahu’s high approval ratings among the Israeli populace contributed to the stalemate in peace negotiations, since Netanyahu was consequently less inclined to engage in risky and divisive political endeavors.

Netanyahu’s “poll numbers are a lot higher than mine,” Obama admitted, adding that the Israeli prime minister’s favorable ratings “were greatly boosted by the war in Gaza.”

The president argued that “if [Netanyahu] doesn’t feel some internal pressure, then it’s hard to see him being able to make some very difficult compromises, including taking on the settler movement. That’s a tough thing to do.”
