GENTLE BULLDOG PROTECTS KITTENS AND PLAYS WITH THEM

 

Don't mess with my little sisters! Adorable bulldog protects his adopted kitten siblings

Hammie, a 1-year-old bulldog lives in Lincoln, Nebraska with owner Michelle Parden. Last year, she took in a pregnant, abandoned cat named Mommy.   Parden, 34, saved the creature on the request of her friend Gayla Hausman, a director at charity Voice For Companion Animals.

 

Ms Parden told HuffPost: 'When Hammie first met [the kittens] he was so gentle... he very carefully would lift his paw over them and caress the kittens.'  The kittens have since been taken in my adoptive families - but Hammie still keeps in touch with his little friends.
