BEAUTIFUL CLOUDS THAT LOOK LIKE SPACESHIPS

And are sometimes mistaken for one

When winds are blocked by mountains, and air temperature drops as moisture droplets are pushed up the steep slope, they condense there as clouds with strange formations.

The result is awesome spaceship clouds - or "altocumulus lenticularis".

Russian photographer Denis Budkov, 33, captured these cloud over the  Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia (also known for its famous bears and erupting volcanos) - http://www.kamchatkapeninsula.com/

See Budkov's beautiful pictures of clouds here, including a time-lapse video of a cloud formation:  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2337357/Evidence-alien-invasion-No--rare-phenomenon-eerily-beautiful-lenticular-clouds-captured-Russian-photographer.html
