NAZIS PLANNED SPACE SUN GUN

THEY PLANNED TO BOIL OCEANS AND BURN CITIES

Their project consisted of a mile-wide mirror placed in space and powered by the sun.  It would be directed from a human-manned space station to reflect the sun's light and heat on enemy targets 

 

The idea was hatched by rocket scientist Hermann Oberth in 1923 and revived by the Nazi regime - one of many secret weapons projects. Documents proving this were retrieved by the Allies in the war aftermath.
