THREE BOYS KIDNAPPED BY ARABS FOUND MURDERED IN ISRAEL - Why government outrage at Hamas crimes is higher than at those perpetrated by "moderate" Fatah

(SEE UPDATES at the bottom of this article, including the recording of one of the boys phone call to police begging for help. It went unheeded.
What part of that call didn't Emergency think was a real kidnapping? Something very odd in police behavior.)

After an intensive search, the bodies of religious students Naftali Fraenkel, 16, Gil-ad Shaar, 16, and Eyal Yifrach, 19 were found outside the town of Hebron, in Israel. They were kidnapped on June 12.

While the Israeli government has been targeting its campaign against the more radical Hamas, it's necessary to point out that Hamas is not the sole perpetrator of terror in Israel.

The 'moderate' Fatah deception

The Israeli leadership has been endeavoring to perpetuate the myth that there is a fundamental difference between the two main factions in the Palestinian nationalist movement, Fatah and Hamas.

Fatah rules the Palestinian Authority (West Bank), and Hamas rules Gaza.

According to the Israeli government narrative, Fatah is moderate, while Hamas is extremist.

That's true only on the surface. These two factions are exactly the same regarding their ultimate aim, which is the obliteration of Israel and Israelis.

Hamas is quite straightforward about it. It wants to use insurrection and terror to take over Israel.

Unable to carry on a major military action, Hamas has to content itself with launching low-tech rockets into southern Israel. These rockets, despite their lack of sophistication, have injured and killed people, damaged buildings, and terrorized a large number of Israelis.

Fatah, on the other hand, has engaged in a convoluted but quite effective international campaign to empower itself in phases. It has embraced the diplomatic route to achieve the partition of Israel and the installation of an Arab state in what today is Jewish land, the Biblical land of Judea and Samaria.

Not that Fatah has abandoned terror. Its followers still threaten, harass, and murder Israelis.

You just don't hear much about Fatah terror.

And why is that?

It's because of the Israeli leadership's commitment to partition Israel. They need a partner they can call - with a straight face - a peace partner. This in spite of the numerous acts of violence and terror by "moderate" Fatah.

The LAND FOR PEACE plan is nothing but an act of deception perpetrated on the Israeli people by the political Left and fake-right wing politicians who talk tough but submit to the Two-States-for-Two-Peoples script as designed by the United States and European governments.

As we witness the Middle East scene erupt in flames with Arabs killing other Arabs, and the complete inability by Arab states to live according to the most basic tenets of human rights, it is utterly cynical to demand the partition of Israel - an island of stability and human rights - to create "peace" in the area.

The partition of Israel is not aimed at bringing peace to the region but at weakening the country and easing its destruction by its enemies.

The Land for Peace plan as promoted by the US government and Europe aims at an Israel only 9 miles wide at one point.

THE ISRAELI-ARAB CONFLICT - FOUR BASIC FACTS YOU NEED TO KNOW -

Most Westerners, including many Jews, are unaware of four fundamental facts about the Jewish homeland of Israel that would greatly increase their support for the Jewish State.

The burden is on us to make these facts more widely known in the West.

#1 - The Jews Never Left
Although most in the West accept that Jewish biblical history happened, most believe that upon vanquishing the Bar Kochba revolt in 135 CE, the victorious Romans “exiled” Judaea’s surviving Jews - and that Jews did not return to Israel in meaningful numbers until the late 19th ‎century Zionist movement. Wrong.

Jews have ALWAYS lived in Israel. In smaller numbers than today, but they were always there.

Solid evidence - Roman-Byzantine era synagogues, the Mishnah and Palestinian Talmud, Roman recognition of the Patriarch as head of the homeland’s Jews, and Jewish military and other aid to the 7th‎ century.

Persian and then Muslim invaders - establishes that no such “exile” occurred.

Archeologists have constructed a map of 9thcentury Jewish communities of which we have knowledge today.

The Crusaders also acknowledged the month-long courageous Jewish defense of Haifa and the fact of Jews defending Jerusalem.

We have much evidence of the Jews’ vibrant presence in their four holy cities - Jerusalem, Safed, Tiberias, and Hebron - and elsewhere in Israel through the ensuing six centuries of non-Arab Mamluk and Turk foreign rule. According to scholars, this gave the Zionists’ “real title deeds.”

#2 - Who Are The Real Palestinians? The Jews.

Today’s Palestinian Arabs, whom everyone calls “The Palestinians,” claim descent from the pre-Israelite Canaanites, but if either side has Canaanite blood it’s the Jews.

Archeologists trace Israelite presence back to the 12th c‎entury BCE, but are divided into “conquest” and “indigenous origin” camps. The latter believe that the Israelites populating the original Judean-Samarian hills were themselves Canaanites who began a new religion and lifestyle, not outside invaders.

The 7th century CE Arab invasion, which came storming out of the Arabian Peninsula, came 18 centuries later.

Modern Israel in 1948 became the land’s next native state after the Jews’ ancient Judaea.

Without exception, every ruler in between - Romans-Byzantines, briefly Persians, foreign Muslim dynasties that began as Arab but progressively fell under control of the Turks, Crusaders, Mamluks, and Ottoman Turks - was a foreign invader, and mostly non-Arab at that.

During the post-Ottoman League of Nations’ Mandate, all of the land’s residents - Muslims, Christians, and Jews - were called “Palestinian.”

Indeed, the term “Palestinian” - e.g., the Palestine Electric Company, the Palestine Symphony, the Palestine Post (today’s Jerusalem Post), Jewish institutions all - usually referred to Palestine’s Jews. In fact, Arabs at the time disdained being called “Palestinians” and thought of themselves instead as southern Syrians.

The UN in 1947 did not partition Palestine into Jewish and “Palestinian” states, but rather into a “Jewish State” and an “Arab State,” terms that it used over and over. And the partition resolution refers to Palestine’s Jews and Arabs as “the two Palestinian peoples.”

#3 - There are No Such Places as “the West Bank” and “East Jerusalem”

Though the Arab side, the Western media, and even, foolishly, we Jews constantly refer to “the West Bank” and “East Jerusalem,” these are not historic but recently invented terms to disassociate these historic centerpieces of the Jewish homeland from Jews.

“Judea and Samaria” are not what the media has called “the biblical names for “the West Bank,” but are the actual Hebrew-origin names by which the homeland’s hill country has been known throughout history into the mid-20th ‎century.

In attempting to partition the remaining western Palestine in 1947 (the all-Arab created country named Transjordan, which were the lands of the Palestine Mandate east of the Jordan River, had already been lopped off from the Mandate in 1922), the UN did not refer to “the West Bank,” but to “the hill country of Samaria and Judea.”

Jordan invented the term “West Bank” in 1950 to disassociate it from Jews, after it illegally annexed the West Bank in 1948.

In the past 3,000 years, Jerusalem has been the capital of three homeland states - Judah, Judaea, and Israel, all of them Jewish.

Palestinian Arabs have not ruled Jerusalem for one day in history, and foreign Arab dynasties only for part of the time between the Arab invasion of 638 and Crusader conquest of 1099.

Jerusalem’s present day renewed Jewish majority dates not from 1967, or 1948, or the First Zionist Congress of 1897. Jews again became Jerusalem’s plurality population in pre-Zionist mid-19th century times, and its never-relinquished majority well before the 19th century’s end - still during foreign Ottoman rule.

#4 - The Arab-Jewish Conflict Created More Jewish Than Arab Refugees

According to the British themselves,Palestine’s population at the end of the Mandate consisted of 1.2 million Arabs (Jewish sources claim only 1 million Arabs) and 600,000 Jews. Not all of those Arabs lived in the part that became Israel, and not all of them left.

Estimates of the Arabs during the 1948 War who were told by their leaders to leave their homes to make way for the invading Arab armies range from less than 472,000 to 650,000. The vast majority never even saw one Israeli soldier.

During the 1948 war and its aftermath, some 800,000-850,000 indigenous Middle Eastern Jews, some with roots going back to biblical times, fled vast Arab and other Muslim lands, forced to leave behind property and businesses for which they have never been compensated.

The fledgling Jewish state happily absorbed them. The Arab-Jewish conflict generated a two-sided refugee issue, not a “Palestinian refugee issue.”

If more people in the West understood and appreciated these four largely unknown fundamental facts, there would be much greater appreciation of the bona fides of the Jewish people’s deep homeland claim, and less talk about “Israel’s founding in 1948” and “Israeli occupation of East Jerusalem and the Palestinian West Bank.” In essence, if we forfeit the language, we forfeit our heritage and our history.

In his meeting with al-Nujaifi, Kerry said "these are difficult times." He said President Barack Obama and the American people remain committed to Iraq and are concerned about its security and the political chaos.

That magazine uses more traditional imagery to promote the cause: mass executions, severed heads, and the violence usually attributed to terrorist propaganda.Al-Hayat is, nonetheless, run by Western Islamists that left their home countries to fight jihad in Iraq and Syria, which is the key distinction between ISIS and similar groups.

Given the exceptionally high number of Westerners joining ISIS, the promise of the joys of jihad appears to be working-- and the free play time with kittens can't hurt, either.

PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH VOTES NO ON PROTECTING BABIES BORN ALIVE DURING ABORTIONS

Susan Berry of BREITBART reports:

The nation’s largest Presbyterian denomination has been busy these days. It has voted to approve same-sex marriages, to endorse divestment as a protest against Israeli policies toward Palestinians, and now has approved allowing babies to die who are born alive during botched abortions.

As Wesley J. Smith at National Review Online observes, the motion that failed to win approval states:

1. Call for the Presbyterian Mission Agency and member congregations to enter a two-year season of reflection upon the plight of children unwanted by human society, both born and not-yet born, and to purposefully seek to enter the pure worship of God by offering aid, comfort, and the Gospel to those responsible for the care of our most desperate orphans (including those who survive abortion procedures): parents, siblings, church and community leaders, and the medical profession.

2. Direct the Moderator of the General Assembly and the Stated Clerk to issue statements that denounce the practice of killing babies born live following an abortion procedure, such as was revealed in the Dr. Kermit Gosnell clinic in Philadelphia.

The issue of blatant discrimination against Jews in Israel may come as a surprise to readers used to articles that highlight even the slightest instance of discriminatory treatment of Arabs.

The media and the Arabs quite often make up incidents (it's called Pallywood), or blow them out of proportion - and that's what the media and activists concentrate on.

The truth behind all that is rather painful: Jews are constantly being discriminated against in Israel - particularly religiously observant patriotic Jews.

Israel's worst enemies are Jews who hate Jews. They side with the enemy and undermine the country's safety.

Israeli Jews are profoundly divided by politics and degree of religious observance. The Israeli secular left has such animosity against religious Jews that they would rather side with religious Muslims rather than their own brothers and sisters.

This secular pro-Arab left has a firm hold on the media, the judiciary and the government. Israelis seem to be habituated to the notion that the Jewish majority can be routinely discriminated against by pro-Arab leftist Jews with authority and influence.

Some of the extremes of the Jewish pro-Arab bias could be considered outright treason.

Judge orders the release of Arab who broke a Jewish youngster's skull with a bat

The boy was walking along with friends, stopped to urinate, and then was attacked by a neighborhood Arab. He suffered a depressed skull fracture, wounds to his scalp and intracranial hemorrhaging, and ended up in hospital.

While Judge Rivka Feldman-Friedman of the Jerusalem District Court acknowledged that the evidence was clear against Yusuf Huleisi, and yet despite the evidence and Huleisi's past criminal record, she ordered to release him to house arrest in the Jerusalem Arab-majority neighborhood Jabel Mukaber.

The prosecuting attorney requested to appeal the decision, but took back the request several hours later. (Why?)

Attorney Itamar Ben-Gvir, who represents one of the Jewish youth attacked in the incident for the Honenu legal aid organization, noted earlier in the month how things would have been different if the Jews had been the attackers instead.

"The entire agenda in Israel would have been busy only on this issue," argued Ben-Gvir. "The media would have spread on thick the red titles, the police would be conducting arrests, and (Justice Minister) Tzipi Livni and (President) Shimon Peres and even the prime minister would have been condemning it."

"But when a Jew takes a bat to the head, the hypocrisy celebrates and the media is silent. We demand that the police enforce justice, submit an indictment and ask for the attacker to be arrested until the end of legal proceedings," said Ben-Gvir.

Administrative Detention orders, originating from the British Mandate era, empowers military commanders in Judea and Samaria (West Bank) to detain a person for a maximum of six months, under a “reasonable basis for believing that the security of the region or public security necessitates.” It may be extended for an additional six months, but does not specify a maximum cumulative period.

There is no evidence, no trial and no judicial process.

Most significantly, according to Louis Rene Beres, renowned Professor of International Law, “The point of these orders, of course, has been to quash anti-government dissent in various West Bank (Judea/Samaria) Jewish communities. Designated recipients are not informed as to the precise reason for the orders, nor have they any formal right of appeal.”

A report entitled The Mental Preparation for the Disengagement and its Aftermath in the IDF sheds light on the intense preparations that took place. ('Disengagement' = the expulsion of Jews from their homes.)

“To execute robotic responses [by IDF soldiers] in a precision-like fashion, southern military commander Dan Harel appointed a team of psychologists to ‘transform’ the soldiers’ thought processes,” says the report.

a series of psychological exercises “planned to ‘release’ the soldiers from their conscience by carrying out exercises in emotional disconnect.” The psychologists’ notes on those exercises are detailed in the journal Military Psychology (No. 5, December 2006).

The case of Akiva Vitkin (also see next article on this page)

Akiva Vitkin’s story began at a non-violent protest. As the 19-year old sat in the streets of Ramat Gan protesting the expulsion, three police officers sat on top of him and pretended to handcuff him. Tuvia Lerner of National News Network had stopped his car nearby and caught the incident on film.

“Another police officer approached Akiva from behind, leaned towards his head, stuck his fingers in Akiva’s nostrils and pulled violently upwards and backwards. Akiva was dragged to a police car while he was bleeding from his mouth, nose and eyes.”

At the Ramat Gan police station afterwards, Vitkin was taken into a room where a witness observed four policemen beating him with their fists and knocking him to the floor before the door was closed. Akiva emerged with his face swollen and bloody, barely able to walk.

2011 - The protestor, Akiva Vitkin, was detained by police was attacked twice: the first time was by riot police officer Eran Naim, who stuck his fingers in Vitkin’s nostrils and pulled his head backward, leaving Vitkin with facial injuries and bleeding.

Vitkin was beaten a second time by riot policeman Eliran Avraham after he was arrested and taken to the police station. Avraham badly beat Vitkin while he was shackled in an interrogation room.

2014 Report - Increased Police corruption and brutality in Israel

Attorney Pini Fischler of the Ometz government watchdog group has published the group’s monthly report on the Israel Police. The report indicates that police violence against innocent citizens is increasingly a problem, Fischler declared.

He pointed to the growing sums of money that police have been ordered to pay as compensation to people who were wrongly arrested and in cases where officers wrongly used physical violence, or made unnecessary use of tasers.

To this point, police have paid roughly 100 million shekels in compensation, he said – and the report indicates that police will need to pay another 30 million in 2013 alone.

The report also analyzed various investigations into police violence conducted by the police’s own Internal Investigations unit, and court cases centering on police violence.

He clarified that he does not see the Israel Police as a whole as a corrupt organization. However, he said, corruption has gone beyond the “few bad apples” seen in the past.
